Goodluck to your new home. I once lived in Batangas and be ready for a new environment, new local dialect. I still think Pampanga is the best place to settle for you and your family because there are so many Koreans there. And it even has a Korean subdivision there.
That was quite a long trip! It wasn’t easy but you persevered and made it to Luzon! I’m proud of you guys! Good luck and stay safe, always! 🙏

I lived in Baguio from '91 to '98 back then there was already a sizeable Korean community. I had a few Korean classmates too. Now I bet its even bigger but I haven't back in forever

9:20 Batangas Port is really busy and big. It's like the gateway of Luzon island via land and sea travel.
When you"re here in Luzon. You can travel the Vast of Luzon by Car, From Ilocos,Cagayan to Manila you can travel by Land. No need for ship anymore

If you have car in baguio now and pass session road. Their is a city ordinance or law of baguio local government ,private cars passing session road will pay 250 pesos,taxi too will pay less than 250 pesos.The ordinance was to control over crowding of cars along session road and difficult to find any pay parking.The only famous mall in bagio is SM and others are not huge to called a mall.
its not yet implemented, at hindi papasa sa council yan kasi ayaw ng mga taga baguio, you can still enter session for free, that 250 pesos is fake news
If you are in manila guys and if you wanna go to Baguio,, I can help you,, my cousin own a business trip,,we have a trip in Baguio for a low cost, we have day tour and stay tour for a few day stay,, that tour includes tour to strawberry garden burnharm Park and many more,, at least 10 tourist spot in baguio

if your traveling coming from dumaguete going to calapan, mindoro, yes it took 3 days by car if no problem to be encountered but if you took from caticlan to batangas it will be less than 3 days....drive safe guys and god bless

Baguio is a little bit expensive now almost like Manila especially you came from Dumaguete. A little bit crowded too and the traffic. But the weather and food are good. Wish you all the best!

I am so proud of you all. Yes, it is an adventure of a lifetime. Not all Filipinos have experience that. I was lucky to have experienced that because my husband and my father's work involves in going to different places.

I don't know if you have considered this but if you guys decide to move to Baguio, consider the fact that it's a bigger city than Dumaguete by population. So it's going to be a much busier city - lots of traffic, pollution from cars, crowded, etc. As well as lots of interesting things to see - variety of shops, cafes, sights. And also rain almost everyday during rainy season, which can cause seasonal blues - feeling depressed due to the coldness and less sun. It caused a handful of suicide cases for college students.
8:38 usually those who travels buy ticket online mostly for ship. To avoid this kind of situation 😊
Hopefully, next time when you travel try to book ahead of your schedule to avoid this kind of situation again in the near future of your next travel😊.

Baguio is a good place and it gets cold there too since it is on top of the mountain. You need ed a jacket especially during November to January. It is called a Summer capital of the Philippines with a winding roads 😊

Visayas & Mindanao province are much more cheaper to live in terms of house rentals,cost of living,free vegetables or fruits given by your neighbors . However,luzon like metro manila is much more expensive in everything like rental apartments, Food, cost of living, other problems. No free vegetables or fruits given by your neighbor that you miss in visayan, Mindanao island because everything here was sold in exchange for money. Baguio is beautiful place except if you have enough money to stay there for long periods. Most Korean community I've seen stayed on Pampanga like dasuri choi, kristypata , other channel which is near metro manila
You are near metro manila..few hours only....you can go again to bgc makati moa etc..

you should have gone to Cebu instead of Caticlan.. there are many ships going to Luzon from Cebu. or from cebu to manila- baguio.
but going to Mindoro- exploring another island is also an adventure.. another experience ..😊
your land trip and inter-island travel from negros island to panay island to mindoro island to luzon will be an epic kind of adventure. i used to do land trips by bus before from manila to aklan where i reside and vice versa or you can skip mindoro. there is a big ship 2go that travels from caticlan to batangas.
Baguio if u want a colder places fresh air,foods,specially vegetables, or if u want a little bit closer to Manila is San Pablo Laguna there’s a lot of Korean and Japanese peoples live there!

Hi, Baguio is a good place for the weather is cool but the problem in moving to Baguio is that you can't buy a land there but only to rent a house where you want to stay and it is not that cheap today. Anyway good luck at your new home to be.

Joybus point to point bus nonstop from pasay/ cubao to baguio or solidnorth point point to point premium buses every hour from pitx paranaque, 4 hours travel

Wow from Dumaguete to Baguio, the environment is totally different. From island to highland. The weather is also different from each other, from sea fishes to Dagupan. The fruits and vegetables are also different. People I guess? Baguio is a bit colder, I mean southern Filipinos are more festive and jolly while northern are the calmest Filipino. The language, I think Baguio speak Ibatan.
No no no. we dont speak Ibatan and first time ko malaman yang ibatan dialect. im from Baguio lumaki na dito. mostly language dito ay ilocano,tagalog and others
@@miraalmen2170 ah sorry.. I'm actually referring to ibaloi I forgot the term just someone told me that they speak Ibaloi, kankanaey but he also said every one can speak ilocano in northern so yes you're right it might be Ilocano as well.
BAGUIO IS HIGH PLACE THAT IS WHY IT COLD BUT WHEN SUMMER SOMETIMES IT VERRY HOT TOO HEHEHE BUT MOST OF THE TIME IT IS COLD WINDY OR BREEZE BUT WE DONT HAVE SNOW SOMETIMES WE HAVE SNOW WHEN THEIRE A HUGE STORM COMING
