+Joel It is a cool boat Joel. Build it and you experience some great moments. I love my Superfly. I almost went with the classic style but decided to do something different. Cheers
Beautiful Zip, please do another walk around with more detail like where did you put the fuel tank and how does it ride? Also how did you run the stearin cables? I really want to start one this spring. Regards from North Carolina
Awesome build! I'm about the mount my motor to my Zip and I had a question about the height of the cavitation plate. How high did you mount the cavitation plate in reference to the bottom of the hull, and after driving it would you recomend higher or lower than your setup. Thank you!
+joshuaburks I will definitely post some vids Josh. I`ve been watching your build. You are doing an awesome job. Finishing the boat is great but the build is truly the best part. Make sure you keep the build light as possible for best performance. Cheers
Take your time with the build and enjoy the process. Buy the glen l book.... Building in plywood. Build the higher transom for a Long shaft outboard. You are going to have the time of your life. A great accomplishment for anyone who can follow the build through. Glad you like my ZIP. Thanks
have you had a chance to run your boat yet? reason I'm asking is i came across a smoking deal on a 97' merc 25hp and am seriously considering it, just curious how you like yours, i believe my zip will be slightly heavier than yours when complete.
I get 26mph on my 86 25HP 2 stroke long shaft. The speed is plenty but the noise of a 2 stroke is something I hate immensly. I will be getting a 30 - 40 4 stroke soon. I like the look of the newer Mercs. Nice boat you are building Josh. I keep waiting for your updates. Cheers
Looks great!
Thank you Jonathan. It was a super fun build. josh
Beautiful
congrats on the build. I'm seriously thinking if building the same boat, but more along the the vintage look.

Very cool boat!
Thanks very much. If you ever get the chance you should build one. You won`t regret it
Hi, nice boat. But why you didn't built from aluminium ? Aluminium boat lite and you can use it longer than wooden boat.
its a beautiful thing!
Awesome
