Good stuff mate! When I serviced my rado today I let it fully drain the oil till it stopped, then when I undid oil filter a fair bit more came out of the sump. Fuel filters are cheap insurance and are pretty to easy to do while you're under there too mate. 27mm socket, same as oil filter. Happy motoring!
@@patrandell8983 thanks mate, yea good idea to do that while its draining. I realized i didn't need to take the air box out but its all learning and that could be helpful if it ends up with a snorkel down the track. Im with ya 100% cheep insurance to swap out the filter and just make sure everything is clean. Its an easy job too on these.
@@irishrock3293 it will only go in one way mate, it will click firmly into place on the cap once you get the old one out. One end has clips the other has the rubber ceil. After finishing this (first time doing it) you wont need to remove the air box, just the bend thats near the oil filter cap.
@@strojasc hi mate, honestly it was on special. the engine has done some km's so a thicker oil is not gonna hurt it, I change oil all the time (im used the the performance cars that I do every 5k ) so ill try a thinker oil and see what works best.
@@PaulHutteroth for sure mate, first time doing it so i wasn't sure how those intake pipes where fixed, but yea made more work by far by removing the full air box.

Great vid mate, question? When replacing the new oil filter. Is there a specific way to place or its just fits in one way??

Why did you pull the air filter box out . Should of undone the large pipe . You made more work for yourself.

Hi mate how many liters of oil did it take to fill? And did you do your fuel filter too?
5.7litres and you don’t fill the filter the 5.7 includes filter
