mine and my dads all time favourite episode and moment of one piece and all anime will forever b "I WANT TO LIVE!!!!" we both cried and fist pumped and said yes at the same time. ive rewatched the series 5x and every single movie and ova up to around episode 940.
#1 fave anime of all time, b4 black clover and hunterxhunter naruto was #2 and bleach was #3 now its #2 BC #3 HXH #4 N #5 bleach. but theres only 1 anime that recently tied for #1 with one piece cuz of it having such a completely different vibe and stuff and thatys #1 haikyuu, that anime always gets me so hype and cheering the characters outloud which ive nvr done b4. much love gonna b rewatching the series with u from ur playlist episode 1 soon. :D
I hope you realize how blessed you are to have those experiences with your father. This is beyond amazing! A lot of us anime fans would do anything to watch 1 episode with our parents, let alone connect deeply with them AND fist bump?? Damn.. 👏🏾😍

I feel you man!! I felt like all my pint up frustration ever since "Water 7" finally popped, so I got mad hyped! That frustration of being defensive and pushing away people before they hurt you or give up on you, is SO RELATABLE. Am so happy for Robin! That she finally found a place she can call home in the Straw-Hats💛
Well for some unknown reason, the name like "Aokiji" is a codename when they reached an Admiral level, remember that Robin said that there's only 3 Admirals named Aokiji, Akainu and Kizaru and above those 3 is a Fleet Admiral and that is Sengoku. So in this back story Aokiji is still a Vice Admiral that he still use his name Kuzan, also, remember that name Vice Admiral Sakazuki (the one who blown the evacuation ship) because he gonna shown in the near future episodes

@@sami_sy Actually Kuzan is already a Vice Admiral that time, remember the Buster Call, it will summon 10 battleships consist of Elite Navy or Marines (I still don't know the difference between those two except for that they're both fighting the Pirates) that their Rank is not lower than Vice Captain along with 5 Vice Admirals leading them. The reason why Kuzan is there during Buster Call because he's one of the 5 Vice Admirals that leads the Buster Call.

That inner child trauma of not being able to trust anybody to the fullest, is so relatable...

Btw aokiji is a title/nickname meaning blue rooster(think chinese calendar, the year of the rooster, the year of the dog etc). His name is actually Kuzan

Yeah Aokiji is just his admiral codename. All admirals get one. They are the combination of a color and animal that tends to fit their personality.

*(No Spoilers) Watching your reaction just let me finally realise something that will show itself to be very simple eventually… When Luffy said “I know the enemy of Robin well”, that makes perfect sense down the line. I always thought he just meant like he knew who the World Government was, especially because of Garp. But later on it makes sense.*

while i respect the original SUB for the I Want To Live scene, i feel that the Funimation English DUB and Robin's VA; Stephanie Young did it best. though, i'm sure that such is an unpopular opinion in the fanbase.
Yeah eventhough the dub VA did a good job, I defintely prefer the sub because the dub sounded too jolly, 'frolicking in a garden' type of scream with weird voice cracks.
