I was 15 mins early to an appointment and got told I wasn’t allowed to wait, I asked if it was a law and apparently it is! 😂😂… I politely declined to wait in the rain for the 5 mins before I’m allowed in and instead waited… security did nothing and the women giving orders looked so deflated that she wasn’t able to order me around. I would never of have the nerve to question these people before watching your videos.. thanks!

As far as job centres go they all have QR codes and yet every one of them hates a person walking around with a camera. My teenage daughter battling cancer all of her medical reports went round all secondary schools without any of our consent or knowledge until one secondary school called us with the data breach. The medical reports were provided for the local authority to pay for a hospital school only during her treatment and admission and they tried saving money forcing secondary schools to break the law and take her in when her oncologist and hospital school firmly said no, ICO did nothing 🤬🤬

I am retired now, 70 years old. I can look back over many periods when I was between jobs and had to go to these awful places.Each time they seemed to get their kicks from belittleling me ,bullying me, harrasing me, and humiliating me because I needed the small survival benefit ,I had to beg for, to continue to exist.They strip people of their dignity on purpose to dominate and control them at their weakest point in life. I have spoken to a g4s security guard who was actually polite and he showed me that it is his rules and guidelines not to allow any recording and that the rules are given to g4s by the government/dwp

That security guard who just ignored you when you said he needed to have his licence on display went off to speak to management, when he came back and told you that you had to leave, I'm really surprised you let him off the hook and didn't demand to see his licence before you would even interact with him.

When my ex husband left us, I had to attend the job centre for the first time in my life. I’d planned to start training to be a midwife that year and when I told the worker this, she laughed at me and told me to choose something else. ‘Babies don’t come 9-5’ she said. I proved her wrong and got myself through Uni as a single parent. I hate these places. Judgemental, unprofessional and rude.
How can they possibly be allowed to display 'No mobile phones'? The majority of people young and old use a mobile phone, how on earth are you supposed to scan the QR codes without a phone? There's no point having one if you have to leave it elsewhere if your visiting a job centre. The uniform dress code for g4s is a disgrace, its a company uniform, and im sure black and white footwear isn't part of that uniform.
The security guard at the beginning didn’t have his SIA licence on show but when he came back again suddenly it was on show. In other words he knew it had to be on show in the first place.
If job centres are aware of auditors, which they must be, wouldn't the easiest thing be for them to send an email to all centres setting out what auditors can and can't do to save a lot of wasted time and energy and to stop their staff looking like idiots?
I've seen so many audits in Job centres. 2 common things. 1 they don't want you to record. 2 and more importantly there's always lots of staff but not hardly ever anyone from the public in them ! Including at least 2 private security goons. 🙄

The audits are making a change. But change won't happen overnight. Such things tend take time. Even in the USA with 1st amendment auditors it's taken nearly 10 years to get noticeable results and case law such as Turner vs Driver. Police and government are so corrupted that change will be hard.
It is the duty of every manager of every publicly owned building to educate their staff on the laws around videoing and photographing in a publicly owned place. Why do so many people believe they have to give permission? As someone Who is Disabled, both Physically and Mentally ... I HAVE to take pictures, record video And Audio . I have no choice but to do so . If someone came to me, in a Government Building and told Me i have to leave because i have a disability that requires me to use devices to Live my daily life .... I'm loving the use of disability/memory as I suggested some time ago. This really does need to be challenged. The Job Centre MUST make reasonable adjustments to accommodate disability. This is not optional, it's law.
I just hope job centres start closing down and they will. Some will lose their jobs and have to use a job centre themselves. They will then understand how degrading the staff can make you feel and can make you feel as if you are something they have stood on

I have spoken to a g4s security guard who was actually polite and he showed me that it is his rules and guidelines not to allow any recording and that the rules are given to g4s by the government/dwp

That security guard who just ignored you when you said he needed to have his licence on display went off to speak to management, when he came back and told you that you had to leave, I'm really surprised you let him off the hook and didn't demand to see his licence before you would even interact with him.
Maybe we should go into this jobcentre every day and record, maybe the police will eventually tell them to stop wasting their time and they'll take a hint 😆

I like this channel and subscribe as it exposes police with a superiority complex, but I swear to God if I was in an interview with a jobcentre staff member and some c@nt waltzes in and stars recording me I'll F ing spark him clean out, it's already embarrassing enough to be unemployed and having to justify that to some prick who thinks ya a bum at the jobcentre, especially when I'm telling them my confidential information like address, name and mental health etc etc and everything else in-between. By the way I've worked all my life but stumbled in the last couple of years.
@Martin Sanders if you walk into a job centre and read the boards and leaflets without a camera - no way would you you get asked if you have any business to be there or that response. The camera seems to trigger some people 🤷

My take, nobody is, they are just nosy people, want to know your measurements, when they don't get them, it's NOT ALLOWED. Am I right in saying allowing a human aka "person" to film because they have memory issues but not allowing a fully healthy person to film is in itself discrimination against the healthy man as no one has the right to your medical history in order to retroactively allow or deny a right.

Anyhoos, you recording that information is beneficial for any of your subscribers who live in those areas who could be housebound/disabled and can't make it to the JCP, so essentially you are providing a valuable service to those people. Being disabled myself, I paused at the part that listed all the Disability friendly employers and that gave me insight of who I could comfortably contact for potential jobs in my area. So thank you PTTP, your help is appreciated.

When my ex husband left us, I had to attend the job centre for the first time in my life. I’d planned to start training to be a midwife that year and when I told the worker this, she laughed at me and told me to choose something else. ‘Babies don’t come 9-5’ she said. I proved her wrong and got myself through Uni as a single parent. I hate these places. Judgemental, unprofessional and rude.

The majority of people young and old use a mobile phone, how on earth are you supposed to scan the QR codes without a phone? There's no point having one if you have to leave it elsewhere if your visiting a job centre.

The security guard at the beginning didn’t have his SIA licence on show but when he came back again suddenly it was on show. In other words he knew it had to be on show in the first place.
I’d love to see an SIA official visiting all these crooks that do not display their licences and do them on the spot.

If job centres are aware of auditors, which they must be, wouldn't the easiest thing be for them to send an email to all centres setting out what auditors can and can't do to save a lot of wasted time and energy and to stop their staff looking like idiots?
I've seen so many audits in Job centres. 2 common things.
1 they don't want you to record.
2 and more importantly there's always lots of staff but not hardly ever anyone from the public in them ! Including at least 2 private security goons. 🙄

I find it hilarious in these videos people that don't want to be filmed are generally being filmed for a few minutes before they say "please don't film me/you don't have my permission to film me" then stick their hand ✋ in front of the camera 📸 the saying "bolting the stable door after the horse has run off" springs to mind.

I am beginning to think that audits by yourself and others is not actually achieving any change or improvement in any area of DWP Management or G4S Security.

The audits are making a change. But change won't happen overnight. Such things tend take time. Even in the USA with 1st amendment auditors it's taken nearly 10 years to get noticeable results and case law such as Turner vs Driver. Police and government are so corrupted that change will be hard.

It is the duty of every manager of every publicly owned building to educate their staff on the laws around videoing and photographing in a publicly owned place. Why do so many people believe they have to give permission? Even more ridiculous to walk up to someone who is recording, stand in front of the camera, then throw a strop because they're being recorded lol.

Are jobcentres classed as government buildings and not classed as protected buildings so basically you can only be asked to leave if your doing something illegal or disruptive and therefore can't be trespassed without justified reasons which recording/photography is not classed as a justified reason in on its own?

As someone Who is Disabled, both Physically and Mentally ... I HAVE to take pictures, record video And Audio . I have no choice but to do so . If someone came to me, in a Government Building and told Me i have to leave because i have a disability that requires me to use devices to Live my daily life .... All hell would have broken loose in a nano second . My Attorney would Chew them up and spit out the bones in a court of law. Thankfully, although most things in Canada are Shit .. we have Rights and they (bell end employees) get Fucked Hard with no lube when they discriminate against someone who's disabled or Gay . You would loose your job, put in prison and Fined heavily . Thats if i can keep calm and Not turn violent. Its hard for those of us dealing with planks like this... we tend to lash out. You Audit lads give me inspiration and examples of What To Do . I'm loving the use of disability/memory as I suggested some time ago. This really does need to be challenged. The Job Centre MUST make reasonable adjustments to accommodate disability. This is not optional, it's law.
I just hope job centres start closing down and they will. Some will lose their jobs and have to use a job centre themselves. They will then understand how degrading the staff can make you feel and can make you feel as if you are something they have stood on

I was walking down the street today when I saw a man eating some salt & vinegar crisps. Naturally I approached him & asked him why he was eating salt & vinegar crisps on a Tuesday. I informed him that it's against the law and he must put the crisps away and leave the area immediately. I also informed him that I didn't give my permission for him to look at me. I'm currently undergoing a psychiatric assessment to ascertain whether or not I'm clinically insane. What's this crank's excuse?
