- Iran launched a surprise military drill on disputed islands in the Persian Gulf after the US military increased its presence in the region. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) drill involving ships, drones and missile units focused primarily on Abu Musa Island. Iran’s state run IRNA news agency reported that the IRGC also landed forces on the Greater Tunb Island. The latest IRGC drills could be an attempt to showcase Iran’s military might as the US tries to calm growing tensions with its Gulf allies.

The U.S. & U.K. had done alot of bad things to Iranian people in the 20th century, they have no legitimate reasons to levy or confiscation of Iran's wealth stolen to foreign country by the last Shah since 1979 and the great humiliation of JCPOA. But the harsh reality was Iran being no where to challenge American naval and air dominance of the Persian gulf. The Iranian swam of speedboats was definitely not changing the situation but sacrifice men and materials in vain. It is not the time for Iran to play tough guy !
