My favs are "Dust Off and dance", second "New Inside" and 3d this one. I bought it in hungary 1989 as a child. And I am still proud of this one!!! ❤❤ tiff stay safe!!!
I never felt that she second album was anything short of the first. I do now realize why it felt different. But again the two hits: All This Time and Radio Romance were genius for Tiffany!
I love this series! Tiffany has always been my favorite artist. I love all her material because she is the one singing the songs. Her songs that she creates herself are the best! I love hearing details of what was going on while making these albums, it gives me a new understanding.
Again, the intro voice-over sound is great. PLEEEEEAAAAAASSSSEEE get a real mic for the interview part. I have to use Closed Captioning to get the full experience :(
I have to put my speaker on 100% to listen to everything. I don't know if they are deliberately not talking about each song-even if Tiffany say's she doesn't like them, because we missed that for Tiffany (1987) and Hold And Old Friends Hand (1988). We are getting the Personal life, but the Artists life?
Tiffany is as punk rock as anyone who carves their own path and doesn’t feel restricted by commercializing her past life. Great songwriting and just as viable as anything in todays landscape.
A rock and roll icon Tiffany congratulations to you Lady 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌹🌹🌹🌹💗💗💗♥️♥️♥️♥️🎶🎵🎤 congratulations Tiffany much respect for you Lady ♥️♥️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was a surprise, as though the color of silence is my favorite, this one is very good too as well as the first of course. Those are my top 3. Being very Morticia myself, I felt enough songs on that were brooding, especially hold an old friend's hand. I use that song in my writing for one of my very depressed characters, Regulus Black of Harry Potter series, it's his song to Kreacher. The lines, "Sometimes I wish I had no pride. I'd go off and sell my soul. How do you say goodbye to the only truth you've known," is just... Thanks for this. Bella L
True artist are able to transcend fads, gimmicks and the smoke and mirrors that surround many of todays musicians. Tiffany and I are the same age, I remember going to one of her concerts that she was doing to promote her first record. Tiffany seemed larger than life, she had long auburn hair and a white leather biker jacket with fringe - this was very different than the other female artist at the time, who were all wearing poofy dresses and skirts with a crop top or bra. Yep that was actually a trend . Tiffany has an edge that has always been more raw, and her voice had so much soul and emotion for being so young at the time. You could dance to the music but it was more organic in sound. The thing that sucks for musicians is that they aren’t really allowed to experiment under the scrutiny of the public eye, “New Inside” was definitely an awsome record, but fans just wanted to hear “ I Think We’re Alone Now “ version 2.0, “Dust Off And Dance “ was also cool album that took the concept of “ New Inside” and really went deep into the club scene. Another good example is the remix of “ Right Here “- that song is SO good ( both the original and the remix ) we have also seen releases that had more of a country or blues vibe, and her recent rock album. The point here is that if you are going to do something different, do it so well that critics can’t tear it apart , which I believe Tiffany does. To be out there continually performing and recording is amazing . I’m sure Tiffany could stop doing music all together if she wanted to, but she loves it, and it shows her music . ❤
Honestly man its hard to hear that the artist who made the album doesn't like it, I think its your best album even if you don't feel the same I think you should be playing like Most of these songs live. Regardless of what I think , it is great to hear these album diaries and I anticipate every one of them as a Tiff fan
I feel exactly like yourself, you hardly ever hear a Recording Artist downgrade their material. I would say on the Top 10 Albums by a Female Recording Artist of 1989 (it peaked and certified double platinum '89). Again without comparing her to Debbie Gibson, Debbie being a child musician had a different experience with "Electric Youth."
@@reynolds1 I would have loved to hear what these songs were about . Or why they included a accoustic outro. Or why there was two videos for Radio Romance. About the way the songs were a bit more emotionally down beat than the Tiffany debut. About the slightly more rock direction compared to the debut. About Who Jackie from "Oh Jackie" was. About the themes of jealously and loss on the album. We already all knew that she left George, got emancipated from her mother ,etc, this video would have been the perfect opportunity to do a real Deep dive that we've never gotten about these songs.
If you think it about it, Radio Romance sounds like Be My Baby. Also, Walk Away While You Can has the same bassline and shuffle rhythm as Madonna’s True Blue. Drop That Bomb sounds like The Pointer Sisters’ Lets Hear It For The Boys, and I’ll Be That Girl bassline and rhythm sounds like Lost In Motion by Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. WOW! I think what hurt Tiffany on the 2nd album was all these rip offs sounded dated by 88 going into 89, and the pop music world was changing. These songs I mentioned had that early to mid 80’s sound.
You are right. Thank you for the comparison. I think George Tobin and MCA should've given Tiffany a voice after the first album, because she proved she could be a success, look what happened with Milli Vanilli? In the second album they wanted to sing, and the label didn't give it to them. It destroyed their lives. Tiffany bounced back for The Jetsons and the third album "New Inside."
I never really heard of "Dreams Never Die," of course because it was released only in Asia. But, reading through interviews, I think the album was more covers of hits, BUT Tiffany was no longer a child, Tobin or MCA could push around. It's too bad in 1988-89, Tiffany didn't seek for help in the industry.
Tiffany's experience is so DIFFERENT than Debbie Gibson's and of course, no one like comparisons but, Debbie's experience was so much different because she was already a musician, a lyricist, arranger and composer. She was since the beginning in control because she was a creative that way. And also her mother was her manager. Whereas Tiffany, was being told what to sing and the material wasn't too original for her to sing. She wasn't happy. Even if the fans, were making her music a success. "Hold An Old Friends Hand" was a HUGE success in sales in 1989, worldwide.
I'm assuming that the ladies are talking about the song that sounds a lot like let's hear it for the boys and the other one that sounds like the song weird science?
Make sure to talk about how you got to do the Jetsons. Also this interviewer needs to ask about songs on the album. There is hardly any mention of the songs on the album in any of these epsiodes
I completely feel the same like you. Maybe they will have an extra episode on the end of all of them, and they will cover song by song, or the important ones. We are interested in the Vocalist of the album Tiffany (1987) and Hold And Old Friends Hand (1988).
My favs are "Dust Off and dance", second "New Inside" and 3d this one. I bought it in hungary 1989 as a child. And I am still proud of this one!!! ❤❤ tiff stay safe!!!
"All This Time", "Hold An Old Friend's Hand" and "Oh Jackie" are bangers!!! Great album!!!

Really enjoying these, please please mention your time doing Jetsons if you get a chance 🙏🙏🙏
This whole album is great! I'm glad it still is the soundtrack to my life! Tiffany will always be my number one Star!

Tiffany still rocks to this day and I love your music and your movies ❤️
All this time, hold an old friends hand, damny, feelings of forever, radio romance was my favorite
Thank you very much Tiffany sweet heart ❤️
The sound is so bad. I really was looking forward to hearing you speak about the first two albums. It's a shame.
The audio is terrible and I could not hear the interview properly even at maximum volume.
Tiffany is as punk rock as anyone who carves their own path and doesn’t feel restricted by commercializing her past life. Great songwriting and just as viable as anything in todays landscape.
You are really gorgeous and amazing singer ever Tiffany 💓💓💓💓💓💓🌹🌹🌹🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎤🎶🎵🎧🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
My Favourite off this album is "All This Time" my 2nd Favorites are "It's The Lover (Not The Love)" & "Hearts Never Lie".
A rock and roll icon Tiffany congratulations to you Lady 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌹🌹🌹🌹💗💗💗♥️♥️♥️♥️🎶🎵🎤 congratulations Tiffany much respect for you Lady ♥️♥️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tiffanys first album is iconic... her vocal ability is top tier.... she was extremely crucial to my upbringing.
I love your new release. Keep On Swinging is my jam. Love it! Please get a better mic for this interview. Thank you.

I remember you back in the 80s Tiffany you rocked the malls back in the day so thank you very very much appreciated ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🔥🔥🔥🔥🎤🎵🎶
And Hold An Old Friends Hand is my favorite album 😢 hugs to you Tiffany ☺️🤗 xo
I was waiting for her to present a new song.
You are the best ever Tiffany ❤️🌹🌹😘😘😘
Can you please do an episode on your 1993 album “Dreams Never Die?”
All this time, hold an old friends hand, were both thinking of her, and wak away while you can and yes you really sound likt stevie nicks often
Awesome stuff.
Love these interviews. When you talk about the second record ripping off songs, Oh Jackie sounds like Who's Leaving Who. Wad that one?

I think they mean the song ‘drop that bomb’ it sounds like ‘let’s hear if for the boy’.
Hi Tiffany how are you doing today you rock Lady ♥️♥️🌹 💕💕🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
These talks are sooo good, but could you please invest in some clip on or lavaliere mics so we can hear properly?

There needs to be more explanation on the songs and albums. A lot was repeated from the first episode. We want the dirt and not really getting much.
Drop that bomb vs. Let's here if for the boys???
Hi Tiffany ❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹💓💗💗💗🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎤🎵🎶🎧🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
I'm assuming that the ladies are talking about the song that sounds a lot like let's hear it for the boys and the other one that sounds like the song weird science?
❤️ I ❤️ hope ❤️ you ❤️ do ❤️ more ❤️ movies ❤️ again ❤️ with ❤️ Debbie ❤️ Gibson ❤️ also ❤️ Tiffany ❤️❤️
💜
Love this but you guys barely talked about this album and the first one
We need a part two or a retake, and give Tiffany a mic. And we need them to read the comments. Everyone is saying what you are saying.
Need better mic receiver. Really bad

Is it just me or is the sound just.... not the best...?
