- Sometimes having the ability to complain is a luxury that some people can't have. I had a humbling experience several years ago with a man who was struck with a brain aneurysm.

Thank you for this, I think we all need reminding not to complain about things so much, often silly, inconsequential things in life... So sorry to hear what this young man went through, how awful.
Great video, Dom. I work in a hospital in the physical rehabilitation department and I see a lot of similar stories. I really appreciate the message of your story as well as the way you delivered it. You have a gift of communicating in a way that is personal and meaningful and sincere and I wish your channel was more widely known. Anyway, thanks for uploading this video.

This happened to my gran. She was the youngest of my grandparents, at 74, the most active, fit and healthy and the first to die. She was full time carer for my grandfather, she was very active, did everything and managed to still go to her dance classes with her friends every week. Then one day she got a bad headache, the doctor was called out to the house, told her to go to hospital, they scanned her brain and saw a massive hemorrhage, they operated to try to stop the bleeding but it was unsuccessful and she died within a few days. It was all very sudden, we were all shocked and distraught. She was fit and healthy and this just happened randomly. :(
I enjoy that fun & love you have with loggie-bear too. Sadly, a preface to people saying how awful it would be to BE me, is "You are so Strong; I couldn't be that strong." Which has become an automatic tic in my contacts. It is good to realize we have not to complain of- and your response is compassionate. I meet many who literally shrink away before my very eyes. Yes, there is a wonder about what is quality of life- and our margins may differ. People easily feel more comfortable when it's a sudden thing or an accident. Harder for those born with it. Like a plaque that kills a herd of cattle we cry without pause to think we raise them to slaughter. We are still in our infancy of development as humans- these types of paradoxical thinking surely shows we need be in thanks for the evolutionary process.
