- Al Akhawayn University -Graduation Ceremony - Class of 2013
Elected as Class Speaker for the Class of 2013 graduation ceremony for my Bachelor Degree at Al Akhawayn University.
Despite the pressure that comes with public speaking in front of deans, ambassadors, ministers, parents and media, the biggest challenge for me was to properly represent my class and give funny yet significant advice to represent our Alma Matter. Moreover, I made a significant effort to incorporate a 2min part in Classical Arabic as tradition has it for the elected class speakers, a big challenge for me indeed! :)

Hello Rita.
I have criticised two days ago your Arabic, cheking some of the comments i've read that you are half Moroccan half American.
If so, or even if you were raised abroad by Moroccan parents, i sincerely apologise for my comments and for judging you. I don't expect someone raised abroad to talk fluent Arabic when a lot of young Moroccans ignore completely their mother tangue.

LMOHIM GHIR DAK LHADIT YOUSTAHSSAN IDAFAT جمهور أهل العلم بالحديث قد حكموا على هذا الحديث بأنه ضعيف من جميع طرقه، وقد بسط الكلام في ذلك الشيخ إسماعيل بن محمد العجلوني رحمه الله في كتابه (كشف الخفا ومزيل الإلباس عن الناس[2] عما اشتهر من الأحاديث على ألسنة الناس) في حرف الهمزة مع الطاء، وعزاه إلى البيهقي والخطيب وابن عبد البر والديلمي وغيرهم عن أنس -رضي الله عنه-، وجزم بضعفه، ونقل عن الحافظ ابن حبان صاحب الصحيح أنه باطل، كما نقل عن ابن الجوزي أنه ذكره في الموضوعات، ونقل عن المزي أن له طرقاً كثيرة؛ ربما يصل مجموعها إلى الحسن، وعن الذهبي أنه روي من عدة طرق واهية؛ وبعضها صالح.
وبهذا يتضح لطالب العلم حكم هذا الحديث، وأنه من الأحاديث الضعيفة عند جمهور أهل العلم، وقد حكم عليه ابن حبان بأنه باطل، وابن الجوزي بأنه موضوع، أما قول الحافظ المزي رحمه الله أن له طرقاً ربما يصل بمجموعها إلى الحسن فليس بجيد في هذا المقام، لأن كثرة الطرق المشتملة على الكذابين والمتهمين بالوضع وأشباههم لا ترفع الحديث إلى الحسن، وأما قول الحافظ الذهبي رحمه الله إن بعض طرقه صالح؛ فيحتاج إلى بيان ذلك الطريق الصالح حتى يُنظر في رجاله، والجرح في هذا المقام مقدّم على التعديل، والتضعيف مقدم على التصحيح؛ حتى يتضح من الأسانيد وجه التصحيح، وذلك بأن يكون الرواة كلهم عدولاً ضابطين، مع اتصال السند، وعدم الشذوذ والعلة القادحة؛ كما نبه عليه أهل العلم في كتب المصطلح والأصول.
ولو صح لم يكن فيه حجة على فضل الصين وأهلها، لأن المقصود من هذا اللفظ: "اطلبوا العلم ولو في الصين" -لو صح- الحث على طلب العلم ولو بَعُدَ المكان غاية، لأن طلب العلم من أهم المهمات، لما يترتب عليه من صلاح أمر الدنيا والآخرة في حق من عمل به، وليس المقصود ذات الصين، ولكن لما كانت بعيدة بالنسبة إلى أرض العرب مثّل بها النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- لو صح الخبر - وهذا بين واضح لمن تأمل المقام، والله ولي التوفيق.[3]

Nevertheless, do not be harsh on her. You don't know her personally nor do you know what kind of life she has led , so don't be quick to judge .
