Casa Basa Siargao in General Luna, Philippines

My latest adventure takes me to a cool boutique hotel in Siargao called Casa Basa Siargao, in General Luna, Surigao del Norte, Philippines.
The hotel is off of the main Turismo road, about 30 minutes from the airport. Since it's set back from the main street, please be on the lookout for the small sign "Casa Basa" otherwise your driver will drive right by it!
I usually book through Agoda however this time I called the hotel directly and was able to negotiate a better rate than I was going to get on Agoda. As I love to get bigger rooms when I travel, I got the suite, which was spacious, although not a suite per se in the traditional sense of the word.
The manager, Mitch, was able to do everything from booking tours to getting me a motorbike and even a rental car without having.to even leave the hotel. Breakfast is not included however is available for purchase. One of my favorite aspects of the hotel was the amazing library with brand new books. I highly recommend this hotel!
