I get where your coming from being in your mid thirties about Em. You gotta remember though that those of us over 40 had never heard of Em until we were late teens or older. Adam is 44, he grew up like me in old school hip hop, when I was 13 I was listening to wutang, Mc eight, Dre, biggie, pac, Nas, DMX, Devin the dude, Warren G, or Bone. Yes, Em could have inspired him in some ways later, however, like Adam said, he started rapping before he ever heard of him and would still be rapping if he had never heard of him. The Brave 1&2 Albums Tom and ACal bring out the best in each other. Some political joints but many different tracks.

Bro the biggest reason for alot of us in HOG following Tom with the level of loyalty we have is because Tom did for alot of us what your grandpa did for you and vica versa. He brought us along his road to recovery in almost real time and it gave me at least strength to carry on to tomorrow. Theres a grip of us that basically dt'd along side with him. He dropped a whole 20 min music vid dedicated to his fans thanking us for staying with him and showing "Every" piece of footage sent in by fans holding his cd. After Nova requested them. She said she couldnt leave anyone out so its a song and chorus that goes for 15 mins clipping every person who ordered it. Sorry long winded

Im sure someone brought it up by now, but adam had prejudged tom before they knew each other and mentioned in an interview that he basically didnt care for Tom. Tom got wind of it, found a way to give Adam his number and said call me. Adam called, they spat back and forth on the phone for a bit, paused, talked like adults and realized they had a whole lot in common and got off the phone as best friends basically and have since made 2 albums together that are epic.

When people actually see who and what Tom is, if you're still hating it's simply from bias. Even if someone doesn't like his songs, he's just a good dude...who likes to troll occasionally lol. The dude has a huge heart, stands 10 toes down on what he values, and has integrity. There's a reason he's blown up over the last 4-5 years. He's real. Plus he's a poet in his writing, especially when it comes to creating imagery for the listener. He's even got a few spoken words on his channel. I think you're really going to enjoy the rabbit hole if you start from Dear Rappers and work your way forward.

When they might run across it, but Tom has a song called My Fans, if you do it and record it check out all 16 minutes it’s him talking to his fans & then his fans submitted videos in order to get a chance to give the love back. Nova edit forever in order to fit everybody in the video.

None will pull on your heart tho. Adam has some great songs but he's best in his aggressive bag. He also has some great country music and I'm not a huge country fan.
If you want to check out more Adam. The Brave 2 is an amazing album, there are some political songs but honestly the majority of the album is not political.
Adam is good friends with Tom but Adam calls his fans Goon squad. He used to hate Tom until Simbatv got them to talk to each other. They fought on the phone but eventually realized they had a lot in common and decided to do the Brave 1 album, and have been friends ever since. Adam is actually friends with both of them, and really tried to stay out of it all and keep the peace. But internet and social media being what it is spun it into a rather ugly shit storm, lot of people wanting to see some blood with some rap battles or dis tracks.
So then Tom dropped God Mode, as a sort of No Response to shut it all down. It did kinda, but that song put some salt in the wounds from a five year old 3 track dis with Mac Lethal.
