Due to the waste food particles and due to fish waste ammonia would be created which is great manure for plants. You better opt for biofloc culture, by considering the dimensions of your pond you could add more than 5000 fishes....for fast growth you must use unno or growell fish food....I have one biofloc fish pond in 90 days each is weighing 200grams. Tge fish which I had is called varaal , snake head fish which has great demand in our place...kasaragod...it's price is 500 rupees per kg in southern kerala

Very Nice...just a small idea...If no idea of selling as a food ...then ornamental fishes like Gold fish or Kois can be put in the pond, Well grown Gold and Kois will fetch better prices in the ornamental fish market.
