One of my sons did some seasonal work at a regional postal distribution center. He could tell you about how packages are handled in the mail, even those marked "fragile".

Some that come to mind are Milani and Cover Girl foundations, most nail polishes, a lot of drugstore brands such as Essence mascaras, I could go on, but this post would be much longer than my initial comment lol. Go to your local Sephora and check out how many products have no outer packaging nor any safety seals. Have all of you gals that are questioning the idea that using makeup that has already been used is unacceptable, have you never sampled a friend's makeup? Whoa..hi there, people. I usually watch youtube videos on tv, so, for the most part, I don't get to see comments. I wasn't aware of all the cruelty and hostility in some of these comments. I'm addressing some of the issues found in these comments. The products I sent Amy are all legit, no fakes. They were purchased by me or my daughter from Sephora, Ulta, Target, WalMart, and the Colourpop website. No dumpster diving. The products sent have been hardly used and sanitized. I didn't pack the contents very well, so the contents rattling around may have caused some products to look less than perfect. Lesson learned. As for the questionable products such as the mascaras and lip products: Amy is free to do with them what she wants. My daughter and I borrow each other's makeup every now and then, and neither of us has had any irritation nor infection from doing so.We use our own makeup tools and wash them frequently. I enclosed the "magazine samples", as they were called, just because I thought she may like to sample some scents. If you folks are unaware, perfume is one of those things that the USPS frowns upon when inquiring about the contents of a package that is to be mailed.(perfume is considered flammable) So this is my effort at full disclosure regarding the items that I sent Amy. Hope she reads this, as well as you folks that may be curious. Just wanted to send her some things that we aren't using, that Amy may like.

Bubba The Bear Happy will always be available because it's so popular. It doesn't matter the year it came out. I use a cologne that came out 15 years ago. It's Abercrombie Fierce and still going strong.
Yeah i still Luv it & it has a strong following. Its just not #1 any longer. Hasn't been in 16 yrs. I agree that age has nothing to do with: if its still "good" or not. Look at Chanel #5! I was just stating it doesn't hold the #1 spot any longer.

Molly - yeah, they reckon it works for palettes. I’m the same tho, and wouldn’t do it full stop. I don’t judge anyone that does. We’re all adults, and can do whatever we want with makeup. I do think it was nice of Rita to send this gift to Amy.

You can't send actual perfume in the mail. The USPS considers it flammable due to the alcohol content.

what do you do with all the make up given to you as you do not wear it and you can't put it on. You should donate it to a girls home or a charity shop as make up has a shelf life and you don't use it you must have tons of it gathering dust in your trailor. Another good idea would be to donate it to a charity for females, young and old who have cancer and have a pamper day. They do things like that in my country the UK. Maybe you could vlog it as I'm sure lots of people would be proud of you.

Is this the "haul" you were talking about? A haul is when you actually buy something with your own money btw. Oh and all that makeup is used, I would say I hope you sanitize the eyeshadow, but we both know that wont happen. I would throw away all those lip gloss and mascara. They are all used!! Just a tip, get off your butt, go to the sink and scrub your nails with hot soapy water and a nail brush!
