I have purchchased the off brand of wonder clips from amazon and I use them constantly. I always shop where is most affordable, so I price around. I buy my pins, needles, serger threads and 505 spray through wawak. They have even better prices than amazon on many of their items. I have not seen the continuous spray bottle before. I think I need to add one to my sewing arsenal.
Great tips. I buy a lot from Amazon
It is such a convenient place to purchase from.
I make a lot of lap quilts for Hospice patients. I buy the 6 pack of 505 spray. It really is a good savings to buy it in bulk.
It is a lot to pay up front but it is worth it if you use the 505 spray a lot! That is wonderful that you make quilts for hospice. I believe sew yeah did a quilt drive for donations for a hospice center. Such a wonderful gift.
I recently purchased a Folded Corner Clipper by Creative Grids. It is a game changer for HST and eliminates.the need of drawing a line on corner squares.
Great tips! I’ve been buying my machine needles in bulk on Amazon, too. Love all of these!
Thank you Kris! There is nothing worse than running out of needles!
Hi Fallon, I like all your items too. I think I’ll be shopping on your Amazon list. I think those rulers might be helpful for me. I agree, my hand gets so tired and the ones I have, the straws kept falling off and I wasn’t able to put them back together well enough. I don’t have any Tucker tools, but everyone that has them loves them. I watched you use one and and you had excellent results. I’m so happy for you sharing this list, it will make my shopping a whole lot easier❣️ Thank you so much, 🥰 Chris
I was so surprised out how much easier this bottle is to squeeze. It seems so simple but my hand really hurts a lot with other ones!
Appreciate the information. Happy to see that I already have many of the same tools!!
Thank you for watching.
I really was skeptical of the continuous spray bottle but I bought one and absolutely love it!
I love mine too! They are more money than just a regular spray bottle but much easier on the hand!
@@sewbeitquilts Better spraying coverage also in my opinion! Win, win!
Great suggestions. I have several of those that you mentioned. I've always been partial to creative grid rulers, but I like the yellow ones you showed too. Thank you for sharing your tips with us. 🌺
With arthritis i do need that spray bottle for sure
If you prefer the cans of spray starch The Simple Quilter recently posted a video with the attachment she uses! It looks great as well.
Hi Fallon. I always loved the Clover daisy pins. I think I got some Magic pins in a sampler box but haven’t found them! I would like to recommend the Acorn pen that Stephanie stitches loves. Double seam tape is good too. ❤️🇦🇺
Oh yes! The acorn pen is amazing!
I tried the 404 spray on the back of the DWR templates. That stuff is amazing, it's just enough grip to hold the templates still. It's amazing!
That is really smart! I never thought to try that. Does the spray wear of after awhile?
@@sewbeitquilts I haven't noticed it wearing, gathers lint (makes it even less slippery) and you can wash that off with soap and water but the film stays on. I think I read you can remove it with rubbing alcohol. I don't know why you'd want to, though.
We got those yellow tip pins in a sew sampler box. I’ve not used them yet. I love live love wonder clips but I find off brands break easily. I love creative grid rulers the best. I bought some Lori Holt but they are just pretty & not great. Those yellow ones your showing are hard on my eyes! I put grip dots on any I have that aren’t creative grid rulers. I’ve never seen that Tucker ruler before. Looks interesting. That 505 spray is very expensive!!! I love the continuous spray bottles too!
I couldn’t remember which box! You have a great memory!
@@sewbeitquilts lol!!! I have a bin where I put all of the Sew Sampler notions we get. I was looking for something this morning just before I watched this video!!!! That’s how I knew lol
I have yet to replace my roll of diagonal seam tape given to me 2 years ago as a gift. I have only had to replace it twice on my machine and I sew on a daily basis.
I thought it would last me a long time but unfortunately I have to replace mine a lot. It goes over the edge of my platform for my machine so when I remove that to clean it takes off the tape.
@@sewbeitquilts I have a Juki also. At each “crease” (throat plate and extension table) I have sliced thru the tape. This allows me to take the throat plate and extension table off to clean my machine (no need to remove the tape). When you reassemble the machine the tape remains lined up. 😉
@@kstorts7348 why didn’t I think of that!? Lol
@@sewbeitquilts 😉❤️
Thanks, great tips!
Thank you
Amazon 3 pack of Faultless heavy starch and half gallon of Best press if I don’t have a 40% off coupon for JoAnn’s
Have you ever bought anything on Temu? I've seen some Temu sewing supplies unboxings here and there, but am still a bit skeptical. I'd trust your opinion on it.
I have been skeptical too. They reached out to me to review items and I declined. I don’t want to feel like I have to give a good review. I may buy a few things myself just so I can say what I actually feel 😂
Off Kilter Ian did a review of Temu on Sunday. I've been sceptical, but I feel better about it after his sampling of products.
@@katrinahough290 oh thank you! I will check it out!
What is steam a sew... how to use. I saw you with some tape on open gate unboxing. Can you please show in future video. Thanks for everything you do, hugs,Chel 🌸
I shared the steam a seam in my recent binding video. I’ll try to do another video that shows just how to use it.
Does the continuous spray bottle have a bladder inside?
The one I posted doesn’t.
