- Steam scenes. Views of Sheol Mine, the A. Bawl Breaker (abandoned), the Border Colliery, and a Lacky/Reading steam meet on the bridge over the Crimea River. 1954 eastern Pennsylvania anthracite country. Reading, Jersey Central, Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley, LNE and others all run in this industrial spaghetti bowl. Lower deck is dual track double-loop and a single track single loop. Upper deck goes back a few years and is all steam on a single loop, with a connection to the Lehigh Valley. All in an enclosed 9' x 12' room complete with HVAC. Decks connect by a single loop around-the-room 'helix'. Duck-under entry, the trains run around the operator, and are often out of sight behind strategic view blocks. Multiple ambient sound systems. Yep, still all DC block wired!

Super. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. 💙 T.E.N.
Fantastic work. It's like watching old film of the coal fields of Northeast Pa.
Awesome!! Great realism. Love all the steam locomotives.
Simply amazing! Great work. I hope my n scale layout looks this good
Beautiful work….the sounds adds a lot to this video
That looks incredible!
Awesome layout!!
The mine looking nice .
A very nice video and layout. I have plans to expand my own HO scale layout, though I don't believe mine will be quite as large as this.
Your wife is pretty lucky if you consider this layout small
Lmfao
Edit: he did say small ROOM not small layout
She is indeed lucky, as am I!
Is that a 'steam train going into a tunnel' reference?
Need some closeups of that little tank engine!!!
Do you have photos of your engines posted anywhere? They’re really excellent and should absolutely be properly documented.
See Facebook SHORTBUCK RAILROAD. That engine is the old Q1-b Reading commuter loco from the 70's.
