Part of it is that she also is arguing with productions behind the scene which is probably reason why she never wanna show up on the show for few some of the episode.

But you must realize that Abby was facing jail sentencing for tax evasion allegedly and more than likely just grieving the loss of her Mother. When the walls are tumbling down on you and you seem like you're all hy yourself,you don't think about anyone else but your own misery.
