I think some of these dolls would actually be considered retro since they are around 20-30 years old, but cool video! 👍

Thanks. I never really know where the line is between retro & vintage & antique. I've tried looking it up, but the opinions out there vary.
Some say "retro" is 20 - 30 years old.
While others say "retro" is a newer item, made in a style from an earlier time & "vintage" is 20 - 30 years old.
Still others say "vintage" is at least 40 years old.
Fairly consistently "antique" seems to be defined as at least 100 years old.
To me there seems to be a pretty big gap between 40 - 100 years old, that probably needs it's own term. Personally, I don't think something from the 1980s should be in the same category as something from the 1930s. Maybe that's just me.
Of course, as I get older, the lines blur for me. I remember the first time I saw toys I had when I was a kid being called "vintage" 😯 Or when the music I listened to in high school was called "classic rock". I was in my 20s when that happened.
All I'm pretty sure about now is that I must be vintage, but at least I'm a long way away from being antique myself. 😂

@@LuvPureCom Yeah, I agree. It can get confusing when trying to differentiate between the terms, but I guess that’s because people of different ages have their own idea of what’s considered to be ‘vintage’, ‘classic’, ‘retro’, and so on. Maybe dolls should be categorized by generation, as in millennials, gen x, gen z… lol.

@@gabypiligarcia6666 Yes! Why didn't I think of that? Generational names makes so much more sense. I might start using those as categories instead, and see if it catches on. 😉

@@LuvPureCom Yeah, you totally should! Although your channel is small, maybe more people will begin using these terms as well.
