The old saying here is true. You get what you pay for. it’s designed for a beginner and will probably do fine for him or her just starting out in the hobby

Question? Did they put the option in to clear 1 search mode at a time like on nox 800 or can you only do a factory reset which clear all the search modes. Thanks for answer.

I thought that Brass Medic did a video showing how to clear each profile individually on the Xterra Pro. I may be wrong, but you could check. Have a good day.
When I the search mode you hold the search mode button down for 3-5 seconds, it will beep and show SP. That will tell you that particular search mode is back to factory preset.

@@terrirogers6965 I went and looked in the manual apparently you can reset the search mode.It says individual search profiles can easily be returned to their factory preset settings. You will have to hold the search mode button down for a few secs until SP appears to do the reset. I have never done that with my Nox but this is just another great feature for a $269 machine 👍 Thanks for the info 👍
Why would they be a difference between Park mode and field mode ? Aren’t you looking for the same things basically ? I would think that the field would be your deepest mode but you would want this in park as well.
Designed for more trashy areas with modern trash in Park Mode 👍 Fields would be less trash plus they have different forms of discrimination on the programs 👍

Thank you for all the work you put together. I live in Conway, North Carolina . I am surrounded by farm fields and old houses for miles and miles and miles. I’ve hundred the parks , fields and around some all houses. I do find some relics and coins . I am wanting to get my Second detector. I have a Symplex now. I kind a like the legend
Not so amazing detector. Ask your self why this new one is cheaper then origina X-terra? What is there better then original plus to be cheaper. I belive marketing only.

I have the X-Terra Pro now and it's more than a Marketing and a Beginner's Detector and I have put some Iron Target in my hands that the Simplex + from Notka Macro that gave me a Great Quarter Tone and told me that I needed to Dig it up and it was Junk. But I have put the same exact thing in front of the X-Terra Pro and it's not seeing it and doesn't sound off and it was just a little bit of Steel Wire and A Cotter pin 😮 and I'm amazed and I'm at 12 sensitivity and still getting Targets that are 4-6 inches deep and it's more than a Marketing ploy, It's a full blown assault and I have it in my hands and I 💕 it.... and some people are complaining that the X-Terra Pro is just too jumpy VDI and I haven't seen any Detectors that can be used At 100 % of the sensitivity on everything that you detect and I'm at 12 sensitivity and I'm punching in and getting Targets which sounds low, but it only goes to 25 , so Less than half and full sensitivity starts at 21 to 25 and I know It doesn't make sense but let the manufacturers fight it out and it's to our benefit and Notka Macro has no clue and I have a email from Notka Macro Product's and They have no more Updates for the Simplex + and To already be putting up the Simplex to the junkyard and the problem with the Simplex + Is. I have a Permission that has ALOT of EMI Problem's and it's unusable to detect there and Notka Macro says that they need a video of the Simplex and the problem sent to them and the tech center and possibly the whole detector and then the X-Terra Pro Came out a year or two later and now I don't have a Simplex problem and won't be able to make a video of the Simplex Mistake in Buying it 😮. But I'm Excited and Enjoying the X-Terra Pro and it's the first Minelab that I have ever owned and I can change the Tone's and I couldn't with the Simplex and it's high pitched Tone's that will hurt your Ears after ALOT of hours of using the Simplex + and the Simplex Ultra have the same exact Tone's and Legend to and I love the X-Terra Pro and let the manufacturers fight it out and it's our benefit......
I have the X-Terra 705 and the X-Terra pro , i have definitely found more on the beach with the pro, as I learn the pro more it does more for me, ymmv
