Sorry, the first time I saw your comment I thought you were referring to shopping next to Iberostar Quetzal. For Paradisus Cancun, I am not sure where the closest shopping would be.
Thank you for taking time to create this video. At this resort, was there an expected tipping for staff with their services and were they pushy about it if so?
Not at all! They are not pushy about tipping, nor is it required. Some people leave a few dollars at the dinner table or in the rooms for the housekeeper, for example, but that’s only if you want to.
hey I’m going next week and my family are a little concerned of the seaweed on the beach, on every part of the beach there is seaweed or you can find a nice spot to swim ? Great tour
It really depends on the day, time of year, and how the waves/ocean currents move the seaweed around. I hope you're having a great time on vacation and have found many seaweed-free days to enjoy the beach!
omg this might be a dumb question, but did your U.S. cellular service work in cancun? Like were you able to make phone. calls to someone in the U.S., or did you have to buy a separate simcard? Tysm and I really enjoyed your in-depth review of this resort! :)
Yes, my cell service worked in Mexico. I would suggest to check with your provider as some plans don't include international service. There is wifi signal at the resort so you can easily communicate on WhatsApp, for example, if you don't want to use your cell service. I'm so glad you enjoyed this video review!
The music wasn't disturbing at all! I was in Pyramid 3 on the lagoon side and the events/nighlife usually happen outside of that building by the beach or inside at the Ginger Bar on floor 2. My room was on floor 3 and I didn't hear anything.
Was it hard to make the reservation for all the restaurant ? Very helpful reviews, I think this resort will be in our top picks after we watched your video. Thank you
It wasn't difficult to make the reservations for the restaurants, if you book them as soon as you arrive, you'll be set! There's a separate desk (not at reception) where you book the restaurants but it's not open 24/7, only during the day.
It does not but it's easy to book a car service with 'Happy Shuttle' or 'Best Day'. They offer shared or private rides that will bring you to any hotel from the airport and then back again on your departure day!
We just booked our family vacation at this very hotel. I appreciated all your information. Is there a way to make reservations for the restaurants before getting to the hotel?
Yay! I am glad you found the information to be helpful and I hope you enjoy your family vacation! Not sure about making reservations for restaurants before arriving...you can try to email or call the hotel and try to book that way but not sure they'll accept this (since the reservations are usually done in person when you arrive). But don't worry, you'll find spots at the restaurants if you book the day you arrive.
I didn't see any activities being specifically advertised for kids and teens. The only evening events when I visited were: Cuban night, Silent Disco party, Mexican Fiesta, Noche Dominicana, and Latin Night.
Yes! Food was included in the resort price since I picked the "all inclusive" option. Although some hotels are advertised as "all inclusive" there are separate packages. For instance, if you prefer to try local restaurants and only want to pay for the room, you can do that.
Great information I would think of staying but not eating there I would rather explore the town and eat Cancun typical Mexican food all that Americanized food I can eat here in California I’ll think about it
Yes! I have stayed at Riu Peninsula. It’s also a great hotel, on the strip but further up north so it’s further from the airport. I was there around 6 years ago; the food was excellent and more diverse. Not sure how the food is like now. There was also a lot of entertainment by the pool (games). If you wanted quiet time by the pool, there was one for that too. Hope this helps!
Just a FYI pyramid 1 belongs to club melia and we don’t pay $50 a day for covered Bali beds we pay nothing and only club melia guest can go in that pool and eat at that restaurant. Club melia also can eat at any restaurant with our all inclusive. Just correcting you as we have been there 3 times as we have been club melia members for 12 years on our 50 year membership
@@FantasyFootballDad nope. You pay your all inclusive on the spot and you pay nothing else. Been doing this for 12 years have38 years left of the contract that’s paid In full of free resort stays
I'm glad you enjoyed it! On their website, it mentioned that there's a "kid zone" and that families & children are allowed in that section of the hotel although at the resort I did not see any children there. It was very quiet. One of the restaurants in that section is adults only.
It’s close to Cancun International Airport (20min drive away), located on the hotel strip, it’s all inclusive, and it’s a large hotel with plenty of outdoor seating with shade by the pool and beach!
Well made! Love the food shots! Great details. Thank you!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The video was very helpful to get a complete picture of the resort. Thanks for putting in the effort in making the video :)
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
I fed that cat a few times during my many stays at Paradisus! Glad to see she still looks healthy 🥰
Aww everyone gave her so much love! I enjoyed petting her every time I walked by ☺️
@Miss Anna's Adventures Awww that's so nice to hear!
Great video. How’s far away from town shopping from the hotel. There’s offer desk tour?

I got to see the kitty!! So beautiful. 😊
Aww I'm so glad! Happy to hear she is still there and thriving :D
Muchas gracias! Ese hotel será mi estancia en febrero, aprecio mucho tu información 🙏
Gracias por ver este video! :)
Great video. Was the central music at night disturbing to those who want to sleep in their rooms?

Was there a steamer inside the closet or an iron? If you remember
I remember there was an iron!
I am confused between Hyatt ziva and this one which one you prefer 😊
I am not familiar with the Hyatt Ziva so I can’t be much help with comparing the two. Sorry about that!
Thanks for sharing! Was the pool temperature really cold (uncomfortable)?
Not at all! The pool temperature is on the warmer side, very comfortable.
FYI the linked website is not for the hotel but for a travel agency.
Thanks for letting me know, I just updated it with the correct website!
what pyramid is lemon fish in?
Pyramid 3!
Can you tell me how deep the pool is?
None of the pools are very deep; I would say it's around 4 feet deep.
What month of the year was your trip?
This was in September!
Hi,
Does this hotel offer shuttle services to and from the international airport?
It does not but it's easy to book a car service with 'Happy Shuttle' or 'Best Day'. They offer shared or private rides that will bring you to any hotel from the airport and then back again on your departure day!

What month did you go? The seaweed is awful! Beautiful property!
September 2022. The seaweed was terrible for 2 days but then the water cleared out nicely!
Do they have evening activities for kids and teens?
I didn't see any activities being specifically advertised for kids and teens. The only evening events when I visited were: Cuban night, Silent Disco party, Mexican Fiesta, Noche Dominicana, and Latin Night.
Nice! Was the food all included?

Totally up to you! For outside restaurants you'd have to take a car to get there.
Have you ever stayed at the Riu Peninsula? Totally new to Cancun and a solo traveler. Any differences?

@@missannasadventures9958 Since it's my first time maybe I will try to use the RIU as my first hotel to review :) thanks again.
