Use crab or dead shrimp anywhere on the north or south levy road on pleasure Island. The marina area is good too on the island. Check out a previous video that has GPS coordinates on it too. I think I titled it Sabine Lake fishing spots or something like that!
Great video. How do you pick a spot on the north levee? Other than a couple of great days last summer I never seen any bait or bird action out there. You just pick a random spot in the middle and cast?
Hey man great question. It's not for everyone but if you drive 50 yards and stop and fan cast then move on you will find them (unless they're simply not around that area of the lake). But yeah you basically pick a random spot but keep moving. FYI I definitely get skunked too my friend. Don't shy away from cold days. They're not as plentiful in the winter but they're usually monsters if you have the patience. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks, I give it a try. It was fun last summer though. Blowups everywhere, it was like a feeding frenzy. I'd never seen anything like it. I tried that spot from one of your older videos towards the end of Sabine Pass down that old gravel road a few weeks ago and I caught a couple of big fat trout. Gonna have to try that one again.
Good deal! Yeah there's some big ones over there huh. One last secret to the levy is to look for moon's spray painted on the road. If the island has a soul, it's name is Ronnie Moon. He and brother would paint those in places they had caught fish and had easy rocks to stand on. I think he still refreshes them from time to time for everyone to use.
Awesome catches. Always enjoy your commentary. Tight Lines
Thanks big dog!
Great video and demonstration on how to work that plug. I just subscribed to your channel for future content. Good luck and tight lines.
Hey thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it big dog!
Bro pink and chartreuse 🎣 ❤️🐠 💚🐟 💯👊🏻💨💨💨
Yeah no doubt! It was killing em 💪. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video. Where do you recommend fishing for reds in the area?

My hero.... you still owe me a flounder
🤣🤣🤣 man I honestly think I've only caught like 2 or 3 keepers in the last 12 months! I think I've gotten worse at fishing

I've seen stuff spray painted. I figured it must mean something, lol. Thanks for the tips!
