Are we all just gonna ignore the fact that this game has epic music for its certain situations.
No, I never ignore that. This game has the best, most epic soundtrack in the franchies.

@@fizzmix1 Most Wanted (2005)'s pursuit music it's epic, but common, look at The Run's score: it's just epic and really estimulates our emotions for the moment, especially in timed races. 2005's it's epic, but TR is legendary
Out of all the games I have played, the battle down the mountain stage still sticks with me as one of the most intense moments in gaming for me. Awesome stage, awesome finale, awesome soundtrack! Such a criminally underrated game.
If the game was worldwide open like Most Wanted or Carbon, then maybe this could be considered one of the best NFS games ever made
The lights going out in the cave was the scariest part tbh
it was a tunnel. a little inaccurate but you always have to allow for creative liberties

I can't beat that one, on extreme also
I got to win that on first try but I always passed the checkpoints at 0:01. The vehicles and the ice always gave me pressure.
i tried to beat it on Nissan GT-R, almost impossible, ended up using a ZL1.
Best stage in NFSTR.

I used a white Gallardo with stock body in this stage on my first playthrough way back in November 2013.
4:20 This soundtrack is used only in this race (one of my favourite soundtracks in NFSTR).
I hate the roadblocks and the final section of this race.
(6:15 Best part of this soundtrack in my opinion)
8:10 This chopper is on a rescue operation.
14:36 Best race in the NFS franchise in my opinion.

Played so many racing games in all these years, this one is still one of my favorites. You get to one vs one showdown while surviving, that sense of achievement felt so good.

The game should have twice the length and more playmodes. Then i would love it. Better than rivals, 2015 and payback for sure from those who came after
Let alone replay modes for certain levels instead of the entire stage

Good Job on doing the stage.
Good call on using the gtr for this stage. Don't ask why, but I have a thing for those. They're one of my favorite cars in the world. My other favorites include: the audi r8, the lamborghini gallardo superleggera (new style), the mercedes-benz amg gt (sls, too), and... that's pretty much it.
I love the gtr too because of the sound but I would rather choose the m3 because of the trailer

I managed to pass the opponent on the second corner after the first sloped straight in the race.
The snowy stage's my favourite part, it's what drew me to the game to start with, it reminds me of when my parents & I drove the Flüela Paß last year on holiday.

+AddictionToGaming , How do you play so calm and clean and win? Also you don't use much nitro? Handling is the most difficult thing for me. It looks it's the easiest thing to you.

Overall, it was good. The only thing is the turns need a little work. Go a little wider into them when possible - it helps maintain your speed when you do - and try to time the hairpins to when an opponent or cop is between you and the rail (especially if it's not the metal guards) and gun it. It'll crash them and speed you up overall.
What do you think about NFS 2015? Do you think that its has to be a story mode there? and if a remastered edition of NFS MW and NFSC comes out,yo will buy it?
Nice ! I have played NFS Payback, Heat... The Run is The one that I enjoyed the most!! no doubt.

Just he has good controls over braking part and leaving acceleration. I understood after a year
I played this game in Easy difficulty..
Now i am playing Hard difficulty with Manual transmission..
This Game is intense 🔥
I'm still trying to figure out to this day why Need for Speed The Run didn't have an option to free drive around the map perhaps we didn't have good hardware at the time of the release...?

I always use a very difficult or expert driving car at this stage and I always have the car intact
I used the Underground 2 370Z for this but it’s a good choice for this stage and the other stages too but unless you know how to handle it.
Ohh Didn't know that the DeLeon crew is actually a character in this game. I thought its from the NFS Movie 2015.

I choose GTR because it has the least 0-60 time (3.3 s) (the Subaru car also takes 3.3 s) Maybe his reason is the same.

Rivals was a flop and the new one isn't worth spending 50-60 euros on just for an online experience, in my eyes at least.
