I have played this years ago. It remains a startling variation piece for me! Francisco Tarrega is a great composer, moreover he wrote the Gran Vals, the subject of which was used for the Nokia Tune.
For the Nokia tune ? mmm... once again advertisers throw all taste to the dogs and shamelessly exploit another piece of Fine Music! They really are a bunch of cultural pirates. Will we ever be free of their destruction of true culture.
@@eugeniuswilliams5457 I mean, at least on the first few nokias it was called 'Gran Vals', and I'm sure they credited Tarrega for it (almost certain - might be worth checking that, though). It just so happens that more people use mobile phones than have at least enough interest in classical guitar music to know the original. It happens. What can you do?
@@klop4228 I couldn't say whether Nokia credited him or not though I somehow doubt it considering how few people know the origin of the ringtone, however they were free to use his Gran Vals as it had entered into the public domain by that point.
La🐺 effrenée de belle musicalité 💖 la 🎼 Paganini-Tarrega - The Carnival of Venice for guitar solo (audio + sheet music)¸.•'**☆ ╰⊰✿ 🎹🎸Divinement joué... Merci thenameisgsarci
i find the presentation of Tarrega rather condescending! after all, the music is composed to be heard by a public, and without him "the so-called father of the modern" and Fernando Sor, the guitar, i'm sure, the classic, would have been forgotten, at least not becomes the instrument it is to-day: handmade accoustic guitars have reached whopping price as much as us$30,000.00 or even more. why? because people know good music doesn't lie.
I wonder how Paganini would have felt if he heard this? He also played guitar by the way.
i think you can look at Paganini's Guitar Sonata No. 34 up to 37 to seek for answer.
It's Paganini bro thnx to Tarrega for this beautiful Transcription

Yes, unfortunately, UA-cam still has that glitch. You can still search for it on imslp.org though.

You're in luck, please check the description box.
Isn't the last note of variation four incorrect? It has a "D", and it should be an "A".
On my sheet i have a D so idk

Que pena darle al enlace de la partitura y que no se encuentre la página. Una obra maestra
