Being from the UK, in school we learnt absolutely nothing about the US, be it geography, geology or history. With the now easy access to Google maps and UA-cam tours I'm always looking stuff up around the world . This past couple of years I've become quite captivated with the development of the US , particularly "The West" . Such mean destinations and unforgiving terrane, so many sacrifices. So when i wanted a better look at the scablands , today,, Gdoosh!! Here it is in a beautifully shot fashion. Just fantastic. A forbidding landscape without a doubt. Clearly there were no settlers that decided on staying there as a viable option eh. Thankyou for your time and efforts here,, its greatly muchly appreciated mate. Stunning footage, thanks again..
Breathtaking footage! Absolutely jaw-dropping! I've read about the area but just had no idea about the humongous scale of the place until I watched this amazing drone footage. Good job! 🤓👍🏴
Right on, glad you enjoyed it! 😁 The enormous scale of this flood landscape is indeed mind blowing. It finally dawned on us when we went out and explored it in person. Check out our previous video about our tour with Randall Carlson if you want to learn all about the Scablands 👍
I walked the Ancient Lakes trail this Summer at Potholes Coulee and it was spectacular. Thanks for sharing this amazing footage. It would be a dream come true to go on one of these trips with Randal Carlson and The Brothers of the Serpent.
Amazing post!! First post of your's I've seen and very well done! Being from Colorado then living in Bellevue, Seattle for eight yrs over twenty yrs ago then returning to CO I obviously don't know much since I have never heard of the Scablands. Really exquisite shots!! Thank you for taking myself and other's who will never be able to see this amazing area in person!! Best, from Colorado!
From the air it shows the tremendously damaging power that a whole lot of water can do. From the ground, you can only imagine it. Remember that the taller flat land formations were also covered by at least 300 feet of water as well. Successive floods may have not been as great as the very first but they were persistent in causing the lower more worn out areas over a long period of ice age glacial regression and reformation.
When I first saw part of this I knew nothing about what had happened, but both me and my mom were getting a very strong vibe of something bad having happened. Sometimes the body knows things that the modern brain doesn't comprehend. Imagine witnessing one of these floods from a safe vantage 😱😲
Bendiciones y mucho amor 🤙 😃 ☀️ 🎶
The great desert of Iraq is basically thousands of square miles of exquisite, water-shaped pebbles over oil deposits created by immense pressures of the flood.
These are the result of supersonic plasma arc terrain forming super storms. See Thunderbolts project. It is akin to arc welding at a global scale, cyclonic in nature . If you think tornadoes are powerful × that by 100s of 1000s. See Thunderbolts project, The Electric Universe series.
I grew up in The Scablands and this never gets old.
The footage is truly awesome. The scale of the cataclysm is absolutely beyond any comprehension. Thanks for the great video, guys.
Incredible footage and good music to boot as always!

We highly recommend going. It’s incredible 😃
What’s really amazing is that, despite looking really hard, I couldn’t see any young earth creationists lurking anywhere 😎
😂😂😂😂
Missed you.

That would be 200 feet of loess soil and 300 feet of water.
Road trip, only 3 hours from Tacoma!
This is absolutely amazing!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed 😊

Are there other places on Earth similarly formed by the ancient times of meteors & floods?

Better than the Grand Canyon. Differing colors. But makes me wonder about the origins of the Grand Cyn.
