Handy vid , thanks 😊 the continuous autofocus was going in and out a bit when you were on the bench which was a bit distracting so might be worth locking your focus next time
Yeah, I noticed that too when I was editing. Will definitely lock it next time! Downside is that it won't autofocus on items I hold closer to the lens but it didn't do that with the small lens anyway, which is why I added in some photos of the lens.

Als ik het zowat met mijn slechte Engels heb begrepen werkt de Anamorphic lens uitsluitend prima via de Moment App nadat de juiste settings zijn aangeduid. Dit is voor veel mensen onbekend terrein en dat is voor mij idem dito het geval. Heb de lens nog niet getest want dankzij jouw verslag is de lens zojuist in positie geplaatst. Ik maak me zorgen in verband vignettes en distortion. Zo ook dat blauw, waarom moet dit nu zichtbaar zijn in het beeld? Ik ga met tijd nog een paar keer moeten proberen te begrijpen wat allemaal is verwoord in de video. Tot nu toe is begrepen dat de anamorphic lens geen verbetering is indien FilmicPro of MoviePro word gebruikt om te filmen. hi, since as of today, the moment app is no longer available with android and I have the s21 ultra. I have mcpro 24fps installed. So when I put the anamorphic lens on and set my mcpro to desqueeze, the saved video will get desqueezed already? or it still has to be done in post process?
Hi guys, i have pixel 4, i attached the 1.33x anamorphic lens into the 45mm f2.4 tele lens and Filmic pro 1.33 Anamorphic adapter option greyed out, i cannot get the desqueeze preview. Am i wrong anywhere guys?
On Android, camera apps are a challenge to make, to say the least. A lot of manufacturers don't allow app makers a lot of access to camera options. You'd best apply the de-squeeze in post-production.
It won't simulate an Anamorphic look. First of all, you won't get the horitontal light flare. That really is created by the lens. If you set the app to apply the Anamorphic lens correction without using the lens, it just stretches the image, making everything look wider (fatter) than what it really is.
There are indeed people who don't want it to be blue or at least not as bright. I completely understand that. The color of it and the intensity will always be personal taste so it's impossible to get that perfect so that everyone loves it.
Oh no! There should be a few items in the box: the lens itself of course. Next to the foam padding you should find a front lens cap, and a microfiber bag with a small 0.9mm allen key attached to the drawstring. Sometimes, this allen key can hide inside the bag (where the drawstring enters) or hide in the box so do check under the foam sa well. If you still can't find it, you'd best send an e-mail to hello@shopmoment.com and they can help you get this sorted. Do include a picture of what was in the box.

Some older phone cases have the lens interface rotated 90º compared to how they are placed now. So it's not the lens+camera combination but the older vs newer case combined with this lens. Circular lenses can be used in pretty much any rotation. The Anamorphic lens only works in 2 orientations where it is horizontal and not vertical. The rotation is just to correct it for the lens interface orientation on the cases.
boez52 I found it on the UA-cam music library. It has a lot of free music to be used for UA-cam videos. Some creators require you to name them in the comment in order to use their music, most don’t. ua-cam.com/users/audiolibrarymusic?nv=1

Thanks for your feedback! They are a bit loud indeed. Still learning to edit the audio (and video) for even better quality. I've got a new mic, all I need now is to make some time for new videos. The new mic is a wireless one so will be closer to my mouth instead of on the camera. Hopefully, this will leave out the loud nature sounds a bit more.
