I'm sorry to say but Dong Hua from Eternal Love is a COWARD. The fear of punishment is greater than fighting for the one he loves the most, even if it has terrible consequences. He loves her, but he prefers not to go against the status quo. Frustrated love. Reminds me of Shen Ye (ELOD), same personality. But, i love the story.

Creo que algunos, por no decir muchos, siguen esta historia por saber como ter Hua. Aunque me gusta la historia de Bai Qian Ye Hua: prefiero a Feng Jiu y Dong Hua. Lo tenia que decir y lo dije.😅

I think it’s just a cultural thing where “love” is too strong of a word to say to someone you’re not in a relationship. Through his actions (protecting her while she was in the palace, favoring her as his pet, going to the mortal world to give them a chance at being together, helping her with her aunt, etc), he definitely loves her. And for someone so cold to admit he likes her, she knows he has affection for her, that’s why she was so shaken at his admission. If he hadn’t traded his love fate for the world peace, he would be with her. I’m so happy they got a happy ending in Eternal Love of Dream!

I never did get the map and why she needs to unfurl it if his message pretty much says their love will vanish. Can someone actually fill me in on this. I have watched this series several times over and I still don't really get it
Dijun in this show is known to not be involved in world matters but he still took time to send her a gift, and not only any gift, but a legendary map he used to unite the world. And though his message to her via the map is to tell her her not to cling to him bc just like how the world has changed so much, her love for him will one day also just fade to nothing-it’s his way to help her move on bc they have no fate. But just like how the map still exists despite the world changing so much, I think his love for her will still remain even if her love for him will fade and she eventually marries the man whose name is tied to her in the rock. He’s telling her don’t cling to him, but I think he’ll forever have affection for her, like how he’s still watching her through that little mirror because he can’t help himself. It’s so sad and heartbreaking. I’m so glad they got their happier story and happy ending in Eternal Love of Dream!
@@osoznanie8 it’s another show called Eternal Love of Dream. It’s on UA-cam if you search for it. The show focuses on Donghua and Fengjiu as the main leads, played by the same actors but it follows the book more (when they made Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms they didn’t have the rights to the book so they made up the story between Donghua and Fengjiu). Eternal Love of Dream is more romantic and funnier and cuter (like Donghua is more teasing and they have lots of kisses). It’s not a sequel so just treat it as a separate production.
Ohhh i realized . There's some actor/main characters changes and arranged . I mean, from this episode early episode shown up lord of demon Yan chiwu, but he got the character not that before. Also uncle and lord zhe yan . And more extra Lord Lian song and oh my god i don't recognized that's why i feel like . Why the people so many, oh that changes . And i think the story more build up.. and nice ending . Because in the early episode .. a little bit bored .. gladly. That's why i saw many videos from many years ago and recently and etc . This drama take so many long time before release? I see . The features of face dong hua little bit change . That's make sense😂 of course others too and outfit more bright and fashionable .. iam little bit confused cause i just watched in youtube .😌
