When Sukuna mentioned “You might have defeated me in the state i was back then.” He might be referring to back in season 1 when they first fought in episode 5. The hand signs that Megumi made to summon Mahoraga is the same as the one he made back then. Actually, there are a couple times back in season 1, where he teased of summoning Mahoraga too! For example when he fought Todo!
I been just looking for reactions where people are actually reflecting the emotional depth of the ending, that breath taking display here at the end really channels what fans like me watching felt, loved your reaction. Firstt time viewer here and now subbed 🙌
I haven't seen enough people mention how the civilians straight up disintegrated MS Paint style. I was in awe the entire episode but that scene made my jaw drop and ruined my day.
Lots of issues with mappa not giving the animators enough time to finish the episodes. One of them said the ep was only 30% complete, so people are more being angry at mappa while appreciating the animators and that they even managed to get the ep out in general, rather than focus on bits of the ep.
Been watching a lot of reactions, whenever the yuji scene comes up, i cant help but tearing up 😢 the voice actors really delivers. This is like if naruto went berserk and let nine tails really bomb konoha and murders everyone...holy crap. In other anime the main would stop right before killing someone or his friends brought him back, but not sukuna 😅
These subtitles are so confusing just clear some stuff up for future reference: The shikigami that they called makora is its japanses name but most people call it by its translated one Mahoraga. And sukunas domain is more widely known as Malevolent Shrine which is way cooler than kitchen🤣 Oh and by the way they showed inumaki un the vicinity when sukuna used his domain technique so...
tbh Malevolent Kitchen might be a better translation because "伏魔御廚子";伏魔 = fukuma = to subjugate monster/demon, 御 = mi = could be 1.royal or 2.defensive, 廚 = zu = literally meaning kitchen or culinary, 子 = shi = no particular meaning, normally a postfix for an object. Hence, Fukuma Mizushi, by name = The royal kitchen that subjugates monsters. However the design of his domain in Season 1 resembles the night view of the Phoenix hall of Byōdō-in. So, by design it could be a shrine. I prefer kitchen translation better because Sukuna's cursed techniques (showed so far) are dismatle(kai;解), fillet(hachi;捌), and fire arrow(■開; ■fuga) plus he always said something like tasting, maggots (while referring to women and children). All of them are kitchen related.
Megumi saying it's pointless to the sorcerer if multiple people participate in a subjugation because then the ritual is void. Even if the shikigami is subjugated, it won't count because it has to be a 1 on 1 fight. Even if Megumi beat Mahoraga, he wouldn't be able to control it because the blonde dude is also a participant for example. Megumi has beat every shikigami that he has been shown to use in a 1v1 fight. To control a shikigami, he has to beat it in a subjugation ritual. He can summon a shikigami as many times as he wants for that purpose. Mahoraga is obviously the strongest shikigami if megumi literally said that not a single person has been able to subjugate it.
Well just think about it. You're up against an entity that can adapt to any and all phenomenon. So what do you think would've happened if Sukuna used his domain or flame arrow from the get go? Mahoraga can't adapt, and gets destroyed. That's the weakness - it needs time to adapt. It needs to experience before it can adapt. If it gets destroyed before it can adapt then it's over. So Sukuna could've ended it from the start if he wanted to but as usual he takes the entire thing as a game. This is the shit he lives for, it's for his pleasure.
yeah if he wanted and if he had known. Sukuna is a jujutsu nerd, he fights with jogo until he has seen everything jogo can do (since he refused to use de), same with cursed spirit in season one and megumi. If his opponent is interesting he takes his time to see some good curse usage. Sadly geto girls were boring would have loved to see that technique
Nah, he was absolutely playing too. He specifically wanted to see how Mahoraga works and etc. Of course Mahoraga was far more of a challenge to Sukuna, but he wasnt really that serious
i thought your editor was making a joke with the malevolent kitchen subtitle since it’s appropriate but i didn’t know it what was your actual subtitles 😂 where y’all watch that episode from lmao
Honestly feel so so bad for Yuji, he just wants to do good and help people, and he got locked into satans body and forced to watch him murder a city
my heart is breaking for him 😭
It's so heartbreaking to watch
Technically, Satan got locked into Yuji’s body
Yeah this arc shows just how fragile and naive Yuji’s goal is. He’s the host of the king of curses so this was going to break him eventually
Without that Satan and that massacre, Megumi would die.
Sukuna only got screen time for like 2 episodes and look how much devastation... a literal walking calamity 💀💀
Yep, and the funniest thing is, he wasn't in control even for an hour of a real time in Shibuya and look at the havok he managed to wreck.
It gets so much worse as well.
I can't wait until the rest is animated.
That yuji scene was beyond sad and intense 😢
crushed 💔

Sukuna was using his technique the whole time... just that there are very few who can see the cuts/slashes coming their way

thanks for watching and subbing! see you next week for more heart break
The subtitles of this episode is different than the original.. its MALEVOLENT SHRINE
Even before it was malevolent shrine
IDK who TF did the subtitles for this one LOL
Makora 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@@marcioamaral7511 Even last episode had signs of it with Jogo calling his Maximum "Supreme Art" lol
They're both correct translations malevolent kitchen is just a reference towards sakuna's love of cooking
@@stupid_tree7158
In the fanbook
Sukuna's chef is Uraume and not himself (for cooking humans)
Sukuna out there in casual mode being the badass he is and bro chose to opt out. Dayum... I was having fun lol
the true star of the show
Malevolent Kitchen sounds almost perfect, Sukuna cooked so much in this episode
I haven't seen enough people mention how the civilians straight up disintegrated MS Paint style. I was in awe the entire episode but that scene made my jaw drop and ruined my day.
You mean "Made" your day

@@ZEFISH888STOP SPREADING THIS MISINFO. The episode was only 30% of what they originally envisioned as animators but the episode was fully complete

Sukuna fighting Mahoraga was holy shit insane ❤.
honestly I didn't even know if I was gonna make it out alive

thanks for the clarification! and omg I was wondering about Inumaki... I hope he got away safely 😭😭😭

btw, its not 'fillet' and 'dissect' its 'cleave' and 'dismantle'. Episode has wrong translations
Now you witnessed the shibuya incident
Three technic uses by sukuna to defeat mahoraga.
1. Domain expansion Malevolent Shrine
2. Slicing
3. Fuga ( Open )
The first scene of his grandpa’s words and the last scene of Yuji was insane.

I dont think its completely impossible to subjugate Mahoraga with 10s. None other Shiki even remotely close
Translations were messed up, it's Mahoraga, not Makora, Malevolent Shrine, not Kitchen, Cleave and Dismantle, not Disect snd Fillet
the fact that sukuna can turn part of an entire thriving city into a ghost town in less that an hour is chilling imagine if he had full control 24/7
There would've no Tokyo forget the little Shibuya dude's a walking calamity...

Malevolent Kitchen 😂
Megumi and Gojo flashback about the Ten Shandows Ritual is very important to future of the series.
My hearbeat during this Insanity!🤩🤣
Yuji is definitely dead inside after that
"MALEVOLENT kitchen" and "makora" lmao
This episode was the most jinxed "It cant get any worse" I have ever seen
hopefully it can't get any worse than this 🥺
@@LWSA_Nowpls for the love of gojo stop saying that
You guys gotta check out the Blu ray version
15:02 they had to put that while yuji was going on mental breakdown
Next episode is gonna be a big one...
Megumi tried summoning Mahoraga multiple times in season 1
Sukuna was not playing with Mahoraga. Mahoraga was a challenge for him compared to Jogo.

This episode showed more buildings than anything lol
