      i beg to disagree.
      she actually compared Manila Bulletin whose circulation during post WWII was tantamount to Kardashian's Instagram or was it Twitter?
      She made that comparison to emphasize how the post war paintings were promoted to reach out to as many Pilipinos and get interested with their art, considering depressing it was at that time. Everyone lost someone in the family, the natural scenery were devastated, architecture dilapidated. Yet these Pilipino artists had to come up with inspiring arts devoid of the atrocities of war, as if to help promote faster healing in the communities, in the spirit of the Pilipinos.
