(Tiếng Việt bên dưới) For some of your questions: 1. The fabric I used in this video is from an old linen shirt, which I used in a few videos before 2. You absolutely can try making it with other materials and making the clothes with more colorful fabrics 3. If you are not sure about the size, you can draw the doll pattern on paper first and then follow it to make the parts. 4. The trick is to do everything slowly, redo it if it doesn't work, and enjoy the process 5. I filmed and edited this video for 6 days in total Thank you --------------------------- Cho một vài câu hỏi của bạn: 1.
Awesome art dear.. may god bless you...I search this type of doll for so long time.. thanks to you I finally got it. It's really beautiful... keep rocking
Me too! I love her respect and care for every scrap...we are living in SUCH a throw-away culture.... it's a big relief to watch videos like this as I am an avid recycler💓💓💓💓
Evolution. Modern things rarely tug at the heartstrings People sometimes get bored with the simple stuff and upgrade. I totally love this simple little rustic doll. Definitely going to make one while I sit warm n snug in my den this winter. You're probably the rustic type, too.
The doll is just beautiful. I cannot imagine not being delighted if someone so thoughtfully made one for me. Handwork today today is increasingly rare and it was a pleasure to see a doll be born. Thank you for sharing your gift with us
Hii Din We all are passing through a bad situation. Remember one thing you and your videos are painkillers for many of us. Our love and prayers will be always with you. Will pray for u to withstand from your problems.Lots of love💜
This little doll is adorable. What I really like about what you did was her tiny little ears. So, she can hear how happy a little girl or a big girl will be when she receives her, and the conversations they will have. Thank you.
Wow... Like going back in time to when rag dolls were truly made with old dress /shirt rags. It conjures up in my mind a small medieval village wherein grandma sat in a little stone cottage and made these dolls.
I love the fact that she doesn't try to hide the stitches by using a thread that's similar in colour to the fabric...instead they stand out and become part of the look, the style of the doll. The result shows the process.
✍🤩😍👏👏👏👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏😘🌞🌺🌺🌺❤
How beautiful, how pretty it is...just, genuinely beautiful, different from all dolls. Not even the stitches are hidden using a similar colour to the clothe, instead, they just become a part of the doll. It's such a princess. Truly beautiful. And this video is, indeed, underrated.
Thank you for the joy and peace you bring to me with your videos. I’m 70 years old and have sewn , knitted, and made ornements for my family for a long time. Happy that I have found you in these hard times...❤️
Hi everyone I just truly love it I remember when I use to make little rag dolls from old clothes and use yarn for hair and draw a face on them to too cute love it love it it's just so wonderful to sit and take just about anything and make something so beautiful from it love the doll love the video and LOVE YOU Thanks for sharing made my day's and night's that much more BRIGHTER and it's so very relaxing and PEACEFUL when you are creating beautiful works of art Thanks again for sharing your beautiful art work I truly enjoyed this magnificent video Thanks again GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY'S AND FRIENDS AND PET'S TODAY ALWAYS AND FOREVER AND ETERNALLY IN JESUS NAME AMEN N AMEN HALLELUJAH AMEN THANKS AGAIN GOD BLESS
I like seeing videos that keep old traditions alive. So much is lost in time because the younger generations are too “busy” to sit down, listen, learn, and/or interact with their elders. Thanks for making this video. It’s appreciated!
I like all your hand-sewn works so much. Wished you have a pattern for this trousers you've made. Clothes are so difficult to me. I've nearly only made dolls and animals. But yours are so simple and even so lovely. they are really individuals. Please go on and show us more! ♥
I've lost my desire for crafting in 2018 when both parents died 6 days apart. Yesterday was the first time I try to make a rag doll and also funny due crafting. Because you inspired me again. God bless you for sharing your gift.
I wish I knew why watching you create something so very plain and beautiful as this sweet little doll brought tears to my eyes just thinking about my daughter as a wee little one spending hours playing with a handmade doll she used to call “ Rosie.” We couldn’t leave home to even go to the grocery store without Rosie. Your little Ragdoll is so plain but so elegant too! Just precious!!!!
I absolutely loved this video of you making a rag doll. I forgot about how much I loved my raggedy ann when I was a child. Now at the age of 58 I use a sewing machine to do much of my items. But after watching this video, I feel inspired to make a few of these dolls for my two Grandaughters, age 3.5 and age 7. I wonder how they will react to it. I guess I'll have to see. Thank you for sharing. I even felt emotional toward the end. Thanks again
Hi, I enjoyed seeing your video on making rag dolls. It brought back memories of my rag dolls I made from torn Muslim and threads, yarns, etc for stuffing. I only wish I had one to share with you but all mine are given away. My 82 year old hands don’t sew by hand much anymore. I do sew every day by machine, but miss my hand sewing days. Thank you for sharing your magic. Berta
Lovely. At 65 I am going to make my very first rag doll! 😂😂😂. Thank you for your very clear instructions and for using contrasting thread to clearly show the stitches. Best wishes. ☘️🌝🌲
Hoy me regalaste unos momentos de simpleza, calma, creatividad, luz y amorosidad que me alegraron el día. Hermoso trabajo, simple pero contundente. Hoy descubrí tu canal y fui feliz. Gracias, un beso desde Argentina.
My grandma had one of those little dolls that she got from her mother. Supposedly she taught my mom how to make them before her arthritis got too bad. So thank you! I now know what my mom and aunts will be getting for Christmas!!!
I used to make tiny rag dolls when I was small, without pattern too, but of course not as sophisticated as yours. Very proud of those, so I gave to some friends, or child. Sadly, they didn't like them. Oh well... Anyway, watching you making it wholeheartedly, makes me happy. Thank you for sharing.
I don't have any art or craft related skills but I'm thankful for all the artistic people in the world. On a rough day their content helps me relax, just like this video.
You're an artist --- You can 'see' in a few bits of cloth, a doll. With your hands you create what had been only in your minds eye. I really admire that --- The doll is perfect in it's simplicity. My husband worked with wood --- When he was making a small chest out of scraps or wood, he said he's let the wood tell him what to make --- Your creative talent is much the same --- You listen to the what you have to work with and create something wonderful!
I think this is the best video online of how to make a cloth doll. I love how much character you give the doll by so many details. So much love in the creating. This video I am saving. Thank you !
Thank you so much, for sharing this process. Like someone has said, even if I were not to make the doll, just watching you doing it is so peaceful. But I am trying my hand... I loved the doll and the process.Thanks. Bless you.
I remember making dolls from the scraps & rags that my mom saved for my baby sister who was bedridden for a good part of her life. She wasn't allowed playthings unless they were soft. I only found out a few months ago that she'd saved one of the last soft dolls I made her. I was amazed that she'd saved it!
Oh my goodness, beautiful doll, beautiful young lady crafter. I enjoyed watching you craft your rag to this exquisite little doll. You are a gentl soul. Thank you for sharing this. Sherie Rodrigues from Australia 🥰
Just beautiful. I like to use cuttings and threads for stuffing, too. I've not yet found an offcut/scrap too tiny to be used again! I am sure I will try making this doll and I will share your video with my family. Many thanks for showing this.
You are a such a talented girl I am in awe of your creativity, thank you for sharing your talent with all of us.i saved your video and maybe one day I'll give it a try she sure is cute.
You are so talented when it comes to sewing. I watched your other videos on stitched rag bags. Truly a work of art. And any little girl would love these dolls.

Awesome art dear.. may god bless you...I search this type of doll for so long time.. thanks to you I finally got it. It's really beautiful... keep rocking
Lint out of the dryer is a great material to use for the stuffing 😊
Thank you
A genuine rag doll, not one of these fancied up creatures you see patterns for in shops and books! I’m so grateful to have watched this.
Me too! I love her respect and care for every scrap...we are living in SUCH a throw-away culture.... it's a big relief to watch videos like this as I am an avid recycler💓💓💓💓
I finally learned why they are called rag dolls. This doll she made is truly a special doll.
Love this channel ❤️

As I watched a couple of her other videos and thought the same about handwork.
Con we just stop and point out that SHE HAS EARS?! I would've never thought of doing such a thing!
And they were so petite and perfect.
You don't have to be so mean 😞
@@carolwickard6417 I don't think she was trying to be mean.
That caught my attention! How beautiful is that!
yeah I know, that bit filled me with joy.
