- Here's some tips you can do against the final boss called MR.X:
It's running style is similar to the Ultimate Wrestler. You can grab then 2 knee jabs and hold the opposite direction during your second blow to grab again.
The only problem is that there are 2 Red Terrible Terrys. They are very aggressive as well. Luckily they don't spawn for ever so for a while you'll just face MR.X
Use those thugs as throwing weapons to stop Mr.X using his gun nor dash attack on to you.
If you use a slam from one of the Terrys and it hit MR.X it does good damage and it's stronger than a throw.
When you knock MR.X down he would dash attack you or go around the screen to use his machine gun or he just stays there and use his gun there.
Character's notes:
Blaze:
Good speed, good throwing distance to stop MR.X, Good jump attack and good reach.
Axel:
Good Speed, ok Throwing distance to stop MR.X, It's jump attack is so bad that MR.X can actually counter it when he uses his dash attack. Ok reach from punches.
Adam:
Slow runner, Great jump attack reach so he can beat a Dashing MR.X, ok throwing distance, good combo distance too (if you want those Terrys to be out of their way) - Розваги
i like the fact that of all enemies, Mr.X is the only one with a gun. everyone else uses weapons and fists.
the syndicate must be low on funds lol.

I mean, unlike in America, it is extremely uncommon to have or use a gun for the rest of the world. Even for criminals.

You, sir, have gained my respect. A few of your other SoR boss tricks I already knew from back in the day, but X always mystified me. I remember a few near perfect runs I did in the 90's that was always spoiled by X's machine gun butt. It's good to know that a perfect run is indeed possible.
I used to ask my parents to take me to the Luna Park just to play this game everyday until finally I bought it and played it like 7000000 times. I imagined I was Blaze 😂 and I had a huge crush on Axel.
My favorite character was Adam, i love his kicks
My fave game of the early 90's; I would love to play this again. Axel was one of my childhood heroes.

If you pick yes, he drops you on a trap door.
And you start 2 levels back.
And in 2 players it shows you an evil ending.
Very nicely done.
Your gaming technique is very clean cut too.
Most of all, you did well keeping your back covered.
And the way you made that last blow hit him as he lets out that losing yell of his is kinda cool too.

I'll never forget that. During the summer holidays we played this game with the homies every day. The question came right up to the end boss: Well, your found you way here. Would you consider becoming my right-hand man?
At that time we didn't understand English (only Swiss German and Albanian) and only understood "yes" or "no". A friend ordered us to put the joystick very slowly on the floor, so that we didn't press the wrong button. Unfortunately we assumed that "yes" would mean something positive and "no" something negative. So we chose "yes" and were catapulted back to the 6th level. That was a very depressed day, after all the hard fight to the final boss. I'm not going to mention those two clowns with the fireballs and the two ninja bitches.

Axel's "AHHHHH" scream made him my favorite character.

Man you straight up punked that last boss. Home boy had a gun and everything you straight up shanked him. Awesome video well done. It be tight if I could team up with you in the third one. Everyone else I know dies on stage 1 on Hard ;-p. Anywho 5 stars.

Kudos to you for destroying Mr. X without getting touched all 3 times. He always gets me with his bullets & his goons always distract me & get in enough shots to allow him to pistol whip me with that machine gun of his.
The only thing that confuses me is why the music is different at the beginning when Blaze fights him & when he asks her to join compared to Axel & Adam, where the music I usually hear is heard.

MrX in SOR1 is much much harder to defeat than here than in 2. I was able to end every level without any life loss in hardest mode but started losing a ton of lives when facing him

Oh god, I could never reach the end of this game. I was like 13 or maybe 14 years old when I used to play this game, and had never even seen the final boss, 'till now (I'm 22 now). =D

Ive never seen anyone dominate like this and ive known some good players back in the day... im 32.. Good shit green link... Man this cat was kicking the final boss and his men all over the place..
there is always the chance he uses emulation,
and he re-loads the save game every time he gets hit
(and later saves again etc etc)

Always use adam, Good Jump/Reach and does that badass uppercut volly kick.

Not hacked, it is actually caused by getting a Time Over right after defeating the Blaze clones.
There still no game til this date that has beaten this soundtrack..

you get sent back to level 6 and you have to work your way back up to him and even when you do get round to facing him again you have to fight him in the end anyway.

I think Max was introduced mostly for the sake of matching rival series Final Fight's main character, Haggar.

The number is a frame counter.
You know a game tip or trick usually implies spamming a move or abusing a weak spot or forcing an exploitable cycle. This is just you kicking his ass.

Thanks to emulator system all you have to do is save and reload exactly where he is about to make a move.but remembering i have to lost about 4 lives to beat this ass back in the day.

In Street of Rage 1 Adams has lower speed than the other two. I´ve just completed the game in hardest level in the iphone version of the game and the speed of the final boss is very higher than i can see on the video. Maybe is because of the version of the game.
