    As a big lover of Black Metal - as well as of post Black - and saxophone I had been waiting for an album like this for months. Futility Report is not a just a good album, is a great album. This band turned a wish into reality in a truly awesome way. This scene needs more bands with such creativity and this band more recognision. 10/10

    This album is fucking incredible. Right up there in my alley, this is the kinda stuff I could barely imagine I'd like listening to, and then one day, after a joint or two, I search for some new stuff and discover that yeah, I DEFINITELY like listening to this. Truly incredible, gonna buy some merch for sure

      sophisticated black metal *postscript: to remove any potential ambiguity surrounding it I am hereby declaring that this is unequivocally a facetious comment*
      Can you not see how that might slightly vitiate the comedic impact of it ? (not that it's a particularly funny comment in itself)

    • @yungpadawan1098
      @yungpadawan1098 7 років тому +1

      Oh I concur, the ubiquitous employment of exclusively lexiphanic sesquipadalian diction (i.e. semantic precision instruments) is a quixotic eventuality i've long yearned for, as chimeric as it may be, my dear comrade.

    At the risk of breaking hearts on the not kvlt/tr00 black metal comments, am I the only one getting more of a crust punk vibe than black metal? I'm really digging the music either way; the categorization just seems a bit off.

    • @Kristofburger
      @Kristofburger 6 років тому +7

      This is way more metal than punk, but I see your point.

    • @VestigialLung
      @VestigialLung 6 років тому

      So is crust really. It's probably not the best named subgenre.

    • @0777coco
      @0777coco 6 років тому +1

      I have a feeling that Crust is only distinguishable when you actually listen to it. Normally it's classified as heavily Hardcore Punk influenced Extreme Metal, tho.

    • @faketrain4751
      @faketrain4751 6 років тому +3

      I hear nothing resembling Doom or Amebix on here at all. I also don't hear screamo. Just sounds like every other post-black band but this band experiments with jazzy interludes. The vocals are just more scream oriented and not as shrieky.
