- Harrison Ford is one of Hollywood's most successful actors. His career began during the 'New Hollywood' era at the end of the 60s playing small roles in films by George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola.
He became an overnight sensation after playing Han Solo in George Lucas' STAR WARS (1977), film history's first ever blockbuster. Harrison Ford rocketed to icon status for a whole generation of cinemagoers with his portrayal of the archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones in RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981) and the franchise's subsequent films.
Harrison Ford will receive the Golden Eye in person on 04.10 at 18:00 at cinema corso. A screening of INDIANA JONES - RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981) will precede the award ceremony.

Harrison admits that he's a very shy and reserved person. He's much the opposite of Han Solo!
His explanation of the depth of enders game was substantially more interesting than the movie itself.
I loved that:
I wish I could look that good at 73.
One of the greatest stars in Cinema History seems an introvert. That is inspiring.
If some actors are shy people, then this is proof. Sweet fella. Can tell this is hard for him, but he's giving back.
He’s so shy and kinda stuttering … but when he acts he’s absolutely unbelievable… awesome actor … I love him
Best interview he has given in a very long time. We actually got some answers instead of acting, and I feel like I know a little more about the man.
his voice is like asmr
It's amazing how many stars who go into a field that makes them famous don't actually want to be famous. Interesting conundrum.
I have to give Harrison credit. I don't know how he does it but you never see Harrison as his famous characters. Somehow he manages to keep them on the screen. I don't "See" Indy or "Han"
Been a fan of Harrison and his work since 1976, I was 9yrs old. I'm 54yrs old now. And still love the guy. I'm really glad he survived his plane crash.
I really love Harrison. "It's the day's work for me". Great interview, and you know why?. Because it didn't focus on Star wars or Indiana Jones. It's about being a storyteller and how you go about living your life. This is why he's a man I admire to the max. He's humble, but doesn't have to be. He's an actor, but not a diva. He's Hollywood, but not spoiled. No matter what Harrison does, he does it with practicality and logic that every human being "should" be able to relate to. He doesn't do his films for us. He does it for himself, and you've got to admire somebody to be willing to go the extra mile to give himself personal satisfaction in his career, all the while giving the best of himself for the audience and choosing those roles that will cause the emotional response for the audience. Forever my role model
Happy 77th Birthday on July 13, 2019.. Enjoyed this insight on Harrison Ford.
This seriously has to be the best Harrison Ford interviews I've ever watched. He really goes down to Earth in his views and responses to each question he's approached with, while still being civil and professional.
He's absolutely terrified. Poor guy. But as an avoidant person, it's inspiring to see someone as famous as Harrison struggle with this shit and still confront his uncomfortable fears.
A star of the cinema . I have good memories and regards when i was a kid and watching star wars movies, indiana jones movies and other movies of Harrison. Great actor.
nobody makes me do anything. he killed me there. freaking legend love harrison
The lady who asked the first audience question, regarding Practical Effects versus CGI, really took the moment and asked a fabulous question. One that you could tell Harrison was immediately intrigued by and related to. Great great great question. And you can tell he thought the same.
So honest, I love his humility.
