This movie was sad beyond belief..😢❤😢.. Loved every second of it.. This movie at the time was so good bc we were so used to seeing Blair Underwood in a suit and tie.. Attorney Jonathan Rollins (L.A. Law).. Rae Dawn Chong can always be counted upon as well.. I absolutely ❤Loved her in this..

Blair's whole career is underrated
Louis Gossett Jr is a great actor I remember his performance in 1989 film The Punisher along with Dolph Lundgren he is both and Academy award and Emmy award winner

he play as Drill Instructor in An Officer and a Gentlemen (1982) that's where he got his academy award, shame he didn't ever get another chance to play a role in a decent movie

I don't like sad endings. Everything was great up until the end when they let the dad die. I was hoping that the dad and his lady got married,and he got to enjoy his grandbaby, and the family lived happily ever after. The End. That would had been a wonderful ending. Lou,Blair and the young lady are great actors. EXCELLENT MOVIE!!!
