Their is a group of Hindu Jats known as Pacchade Jat in U.P who migrated from Punjab Potwar in 17-18th century who speak a mix of Hindi and Punjab like Tuci Kitteh ja rahe ho, Tuhada nam ki aa, etc. Famous personalities like Anubhav Singh Bassi belong to this community.
They are not from Pothowar but they are Malwai Jats and they were not Hindu when they migrated. They were Sikh Jats of Ludhiana and Sangrur(Malwa) and they were part of the Tis Hazari fauj of Baba Baghel Singh under the siege of Red Fort. They are Malwai Jats as evident from their surnames such as Sidhu,Brar,Deol,Dhaliwal,Gill,Mander,Bassi,Sekhon etc.

Yes In district Sahiwal there are majorly 3 accents.. Majhi many people in urban area. Jangli in Harrapa and Chichawatni parts. Doabi by the migrants (mainly arains and some jutts too)
CORRECTION! In SIALKOT we don't use "RDE" in exchange for "RE". "RDE" is more commonly used in the Lahori accent. Withal, the dialect of Sialkoti Indigenous ppl is absolutely not "turley wali zuban". It's more like pure and innocent. I know what I'm talking about because I was born and brought up in Sialkot.

I speak Shahpuri Lehja of Punjabi, which is spoken in Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar, Chakwal and in Mianwali. Our language is mixture of three dialects, standard Punjabi, Potohari and Sraeki.
Brother shahpuri is oldest and stranded punjabi. Mahji punjabi and so called saraiki (multani) punjabi were originated from shahpuri punjabi. I can provide few proofs if you needed
My grandfather was from a village outside of Jallandhar. He spoke Doabi. It’s called Faislabadi dialect in Pakistan because many Muslims from the Doab region ended up in Faislabad. Still want to visit the ancestral village.

Um Pahari is not only Punjabi but its a group of languages spoken in the hilly regions which consists Potwari Punjabi Dogri from Jammu Kashmiri Bilaspuri from Himachal Pradesh Garwali from Uttarakhand Etc.
Kashmiri language isn't a Pahari language. It is totally different and doesn't even fall in the same category rather it falls into Dardic language group which consists of languages like Shina, Chitrali, Kohistani etc. Kashmiri has little similarities with Pahari or Punjabi. I am sure if you listen to it you won't understand anything. Plus Himachali Pahari, Kumaoni, Garhwali, Baderwahi along with Nepali belong to Northern Indo-Aryan and are different from Pahari-Potwari spoken in Northern Pakistan & some parts of Jammu & Kashmir. Pahari-Potwari belongs to Northwestern Indo-Aryan along with Punjabi, Saraiki, Hindko, Sindhi etc. Although they often use the same name i.e Pahari however they are different linguistically. Dogri is in the middle of Punjabi, Pahari & Himachali Pahari which itself includes many different languages of Himachal Pradesh.

@@harry41505 I only started to realize I spoke a different dialect and there isn't one Punjabi dialect when I grew up and also when I started to watch mainly punjabi movies. I speak the malwai dialect but I love some of the words that are used in other dialects. Such as using 'haiਠan' instead of using thale or ninva for the word down.

We migrated from lahore and we proudly speak majhi dialect of punjabi in malwa area of ferozpur. I pretty much knew all dialects of punjabi and u probably missed ahirwali (haryanvi now days) and puadhi ( prrtty much sub dialect of malwai mixed with language of awadh area of UP). There were also once part f punjabi diasphora

Good information... A dialect of Potohari/Pahari is very commonly spoken in areas of Jammu and Kashmir India and also in Pakistan... In Districts Of Poonch and Rajorui Mirpur and parts of Pak Kashmir.. one completely Different Dialect is also spoken in Kashmir valley Pahadi speaking areas specially in Uri Tehsil of Baramulla District... They speak.. like.. Muggo for me... Tuggo for you...etc.. Ppl of Poonch and Rajouri speak like.. Aasaan Jasaan Khaasan Peesaan... Hoosi.. Karsaan.. Jaane Ho Aane ho... Karri Shorya... Khaayi Shorya... Hoyi gya... etc etc.

It's very good That u have preserved your Ancestoral Language instead of living in lahore Although I think some changes may have occurred in Accent and Pronounciation. And Btw Kangri is Dialect of Dogra Pahadi and not Punjabi it shares similarities with dialects of Punjabi because It is just next to Plains of Punjab.
Kangri is an independent language not just some dialect. In fact, Kangri itself has dialects like lower Kangra speaks Nurpuri Kangri and upper Kangra speaks Palampuri Kangri. They are similar to Jammu Dogri, especially Nurpuri Kangri. It can't be a dialect of Punjabi because Kangra and Punjab aren't one. If you are proud of your ancestors then don't reduce their language down to a mere dialect of Punjabi when it isn't.
What about PUWADHi, it is spoken in fatehgarh sahib, Anandpur sahib, mohali, Rajpura tehsil of Patiala, kurukshetra, ambala, yamuna nagar, panckula and karnal. My Accent is Malwai but my ancestors were from Majha, Amritsar region

Love from firozepur , our family migrated from Peshawar to firozepur before partition and then migrated again too New Zealand , my mothers great grandfather was a Hakeem and associated with the first generation leaders of KPK after they had been split off from Afghanistan by the British , his name was Hakeem Lal Chand Wazir Sahib , his sons was Hakim Buta Chand Wazir Sahaab and my grandfathers was Hakim Atma Ram Wazir Saheeb they were ancestraly top ranking ministers of imperial Afghanistan years back
Abu Kevin Ibn Peter Al Salvador I have pathan ancestry but no I’m not culturally linked too Peshawar and I don’t speak pashto , we speak Punjabi now , I’m Punjabi my forefathers came from their and were of Turkic ancestry cause Peshawaris often traded in Central Asia and often had kids with central Asian women then they would come back too Peshawar or Punjab , that’s why the raj kapoor ect had blue eyes , so yes we do have pathan blood but mainly it’s Punjabi with some Turkic too cause we traded in Central Asia and married tatars

My grandparents were from Jhelum, pakistani punjab before settling in India after partition and they speak mixture of Majhi, Pahari and another dilect called dhanni. I was hoping to see dhanni here, since I know almost nothing about it. But it was helpful anyway🤍

Yes In district Sahiwal there are majorly 3 accents.. Majhi many people in urban area. Jangli in Harrapa and Chichawatni parts. Doabi by the migrants (mainly arains and some jutts too)
CORRECTION! In SIALKOT we don't use "RDE" in exchange for "RE". "RDE" is more commonly used in the Lahori accent. Withal, the dialect of Sialkoti Indigenous ppl is absolutely not "turley wali zuban". It's more like pure and innocent. I know what I'm talking about because I was born and brought up in Sialkot.

Well there two words ‘Pahari’ = Mountain, pahari is an accent of people living in mountains... while Paari = Heavy, Loaded. In case of gujjarnawala, there punjabi is bit thick or bit loud

I speak Shahpuri Lehja of Punjabi, which is spoken in Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar, Chakwal and in Mianwali. Our language is mixture of three dialects, standard Punjabi, Potohari and Sraeki.

My grandfather was from a village outside of Jallandhar. He spoke Doabi. It’s called Faislabadi dialect in Pakistan because many Muslims from the Doab region ended up in Faislabad. Still want to visit the ancestral village.

Potwari Punjabi
Dogri from Jammu
Kashmiri
Bilaspuri from Himachal Pradesh
Garwali from Uttarakhand
Etc.
Kashmiri language isn't a Pahari language. It is totally different and doesn't even fall in the same category rather it falls into Dardic language group which consists of languages like Shina, Chitrali, Kohistani etc. Kashmiri has little similarities with Pahari or Punjabi. I am sure if you listen to it you won't understand anything.
Plus Himachali Pahari, Kumaoni, Garhwali, Baderwahi along with Nepali belong to Northern Indo-Aryan and are different from Pahari-Potwari spoken in Northern Pakistan & some parts of Jammu & Kashmir. Pahari-Potwari belongs to Northwestern Indo-Aryan along with Punjabi, Saraiki, Hindko, Sindhi etc. Although they often use the same name i.e Pahari however they are different linguistically.
Dogri is in the middle of Punjabi, Pahari & Himachali Pahari which itself includes many different languages of Himachal Pradesh.
Cover Dogri, Poonchi, Gojri of Jammu region India as well, very similar to Pothwari , but still different.

Nah bro... thats wrong... I had been living in delhi almost for 25 years... now in California...and parents never told me about these dialects but I wanted to know why I speak doabi and malwai mix and other speak differently.... I have known this and my friends have know this too from very long.
@@harry41505 I only started to realize I spoke a different dialect and there isn't one Punjabi dialect when I grew up and also when I started to watch mainly punjabi movies. I speak the malwai dialect but I love some of the words that are used in other dialects. Such as using 'haiਠan' instead of using thale or ninva for the word down.

We migrated from lahore and we proudly speak majhi dialect of punjabi in malwa area of ferozpur. I pretty much knew all dialects of punjabi and u probably missed ahirwali (haryanvi now days) and puadhi ( prrtty much sub dialect of malwai mixed with language of awadh area of UP). There were also once part f punjabi diasphora

And Btw Kangri is Dialect of Dogra Pahadi and not Punjabi it shares similarities with dialects of Punjabi because It is just next to Plains of Punjab.
Kangri is an independent language not just some dialect. In fact, Kangri itself has dialects like lower Kangra speaks Nurpuri Kangri and upper Kangra speaks Palampuri Kangri. They are similar to Jammu Dogri, especially Nurpuri Kangri. It can't be a dialect of Punjabi because Kangra and Punjab aren't one. If you are proud of your ancestors then don't reduce their language down to a mere dialect of Punjabi when it isn't.

What about PUWADHi, it is spoken in fatehgarh sahib, Anandpur sahib, mohali, Rajpura tehsil of Patiala, kurukshetra, ambala, yamuna nagar, panckula and karnal. My Accent is Malwai but my ancestors were from Majha, Amritsar region

Thanks bro for this video, i am from Faisalabad but when i hear sidhu moose wala's song i couldn't understand some words, like as u said in this video we speak doabi faisalabadi punjabi and they speak malwa region punjabi where you added Mansa, and it is a bit difference but insha Allah I will do my best.

Abu Kevin Ibn Peter Al Salvador I have pathan ancestry but no I’m not culturally linked too Peshawar and I don’t speak pashto , we speak Punjabi now , I’m Punjabi my forefathers came from their and were of Turkic ancestry cause Peshawaris often traded in Central Asia and often had kids with central Asian women then they would come back too Peshawar or Punjab , that’s why the raj kapoor ect had blue eyes , so yes we do have pathan blood but mainly it’s Punjabi with some Turkic too cause we traded in Central Asia and married tatars

My grandparents were from Jhelum, pakistani punjab before settling in India after partition and they speak mixture of Majhi, Pahari and another dilect called dhanni. I was hoping to see dhanni here, since I know almost nothing about it. But it was helpful anyway🤍
