YES!!! The kimono can tell already. PICOTA aka PIXIE nail spa at plaza sing, JEM, Wisma and Taka. Same brand different name.
I saw your receipt is classic Medicure for $78 I think is the market price ? Usually classic come with cutting of cuticles, scrab, moisturizing and massage.
but $8 per nail for design is too expensive omaigosh

Was there few months back and their service and attitude is just like the google reviews. Went out with bleeding finger nails and $20 for removal. Their attitude changes when you are not doing expensive services like topping up for sea salt soaking etc

This place is called Picota (did a search online). The Google reviews vary with some 5stars but still mostly 1star. I never personally went here though.

i did a simple gelish @jem for $78/73 too basic classic gelish honestly not surprising but i think i got 2 pieces of chocolate packaged and the massage is normal

Omg i hate this nail salon! Bought a deal from Fave & forced us to sign up for their packages. Rejected them times & times again but the hard sell was too much & ended up signing their cheapest package to brush them off. Never have I went back again to utilise the package after my first experience. Too turn off. The outlet i visited was at Chinatown Point.

I used to frequent Picota and the service was pretty good in my opinion, my package for both classic mani & pedi was $98 (1x mani + 1x pedi) though. Didn’t find an issue with them at all. They were always pretty gentle & accommodating
I actually know what nail salon store they went. My mom went to the same store before but different location. For her it was cheap but I think it was expensive becuz is like the city area. ┐( ∵ )┌

In Germany basic manicure consist of trim nail and paint your nails already cost €20 equivalent to SGD36, classic manicure with full service cost €40 (SGD72) hor, if you want gelish or extension nails easily cost you SGD 150 at least. This price you can find it everywhere in Germany, even ulu ulu place also these price. The vietnamese cannot speak German well to strike a conversation with customers and they will talk to their colleagues with vietnamese all the time. In Germany, most nail salons open by vietnamese.
Price u have to see location also la. Those hdb kind ofcos will be cheaper la. Their rental sure high what at shopping centers.

For the english speaking ..you can't expect everyone too speak English fluently..it's not other languages too. All depends where you go too remove gel ..it's expensive but not as expensive. The other price was ripped off smh. $555 n something ???

Most people who complained are those who bought from FAVE. And also it's ultra expensive manicure.
FYI there is no jelish nails for $20 and nail art is always charge as per nail

But seriously, I did my nails once at far east plaza. And that experience actually drew blood. I jumped sky high as it was really painful and the manicurist actually said "painful?" 🤦🤦

idk where you got the reviews from but this salon has one of best service and manucurists . yes it's hella expensive but their products they use are high quality and top notch nail stuff so price point can't complain . I go to their shop monthly for nails and waxing and they never fail to deliver their best results and i don't understand why people are complaining ? in conclusion , you pay what you get . if you guys are complaining about this shop in a shopping mall , try going to bugis and do them for $20 and see how dirty their stuff is and how rude their staff are. They get angry even if the customer fidgets
If you can take time to leave such a long comment here I’m sure it will not kill you to do a simple search of their name on Google to find out. A search on your phone they Google will pull out their reviews in less than one second surprise!!!!! If you have received good service from them, good for you! Maybe try leaving them 5 stars review instead of dropping them in comments section like this which will NOT HELP at all. It’s easy for people to leave 1-star review or bad bad review for services they have received than people leaving good reviews for the service they received. So next time when you “don’t know” why this salon receive bad reviews, it’s because of people like you. (-:
