Wonderful message! It is a frightening thought that people believe that they can enter heaven through good works. Praise God that He has provided the righteousness of Christ, which He imputes into the account of those who believe. It is on that basis, of righteousness imputed that we can approach God

If anyone thinks the Bible is the "word of God" and not ancient authors speaking for their imaginary god, they need to read the below article from a critical Biblical scholar and spend some time reading the other articles on his website. Basically the Bible is Israelite propaganda. I feel my understanding is a bit different, and probably wrong if course. If the wage of sin is death, Jesus dying on the cross brought balance by paying my wage. My own death isn’t enough ti pay my wage since my sun has caused the death of so many, but Jesus being perfect is able to cover the cost of all the imperfect. Now, I still need to die in order to be transfigured upon resurrection into a holy being that can be permitted to be in the presence of The Holy Ghost. So standing before God in judgement we say, Christ your son has paid my wage of sin, and transfigured me into a being worth of being in heaven by his grace.
What Jesus came to do? Before these words, things get problematic, don´t they?: There is a problem with the "Christ came to die for us, to save us" theology. Why? Christ makes two statements which are contradictory with this purpose: Before the cross: Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me, but not my will but yours be done. ("my will"??); On the cross: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? (But wasn't dying on the cross the reason for Christ's coming, to save us? ). Does Christ limit himself to fulfilling the Father's will, against his own will? But then what was the purpose of coming to Earth? Only God the Father really wanted to save us? There is something here that is not right! We still lack a lot of information.

Anything else is a division and not blessed by God.
Bob believes that an ancient collection of barbaric stories from Bronze Age Palestine offers the only way to live. I disagree and so does most of humanity.
You are standing against dozens if not hundreds of prophets sent by God to proclaim his word, over a time span of more than 1500 years. All you have is a rejection without refutation -- if you may cognitively confidently live with that. The deeper problem of your position is that you distrust what you have heard, not that what you have heard isn't trustworthy. Otherwise, you would have engaged with the content of the video, instead of a mock. But according to this "ancient collection" (ancient doesn't mean "bad" or "irrelevant" , by the way), God loves his creation and offers a way that you may return to him.
Bronze Age? Most of the Old Testament and the entire New Testament was written after the Bronze Age. As for most of humanity disagreeing with what is written. The Bible says that the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life. And wide is the gate and way is broad that leads to destruction.

As R.C. Sproul says that the only way to heaven is perfection. It will either be your perfection or Jesus perfection.
