I just think it's so cool seeing a girl not too far from my age pulling middle-aged adults to her live. What's more she's filipino like me. Awe-inspiring.
I still reckon the recorded backing vocals don't need to be so loud though. Bea may not have the _most_ powerful live voice, but she hits the right notes reliably.
what were we really hearing? did the drums stop when he stopped as everything came crashing down? Somethings fishy here. The drum track didn't change? All those cymbals getting crashed into didn't make a peep of a sound? WTH, was the drummer even mic'd?
@@jonunderscore Yeah, it's too bad. Like, those hiphop guys started not hiding it anymore and just play their track on stage and jump around to it. I really was rooting for this band, but saw this album presentation a year (maybe 2?) ago and it was just like that. They play over it. I mean. she mutters a bit over the original, but where in 10 years ago it was acceptable to have a backing track behind you to make it sound more powerful, this band (at least to my ears) takes it a step further by just singing softly over the backing track. Not only vocals, but other instruments as well. So yeah, it does sound really good, but I like so called alternative people to keep it real. But who am i
This has the only band for me, with Bea as frontwoman, giving so much nostalgia. It is insane how good they pull it off and still maintain their own sound. Real artists.
Music is super tight and the mix here is shockingly good! That said for some reason every tour video ive seen this cycle, literally none of the band look stoked to be there. I get just phoning it in every now and then, this is their career. Still, basically none of them look like they even want to be there lol. hope they're all doing alright!
The tones and the mix are so good I love that bass Sounds so clear, holy The guitars are open and still strong at the same time What a beautiful sound all around
Watching this just after watching her interview at I D and god I realize that I've fallen for you bea, I feel I'll be fangirling you forever. Hope to hear your music forever too.
Lead, rhythm and bass guitars with a supporting drum kit is a tried & tested template for rock ‘n’ roll (see the Fab Four). But these kids pull it off really well. Some sweet indie-ish tunes going on but hey they can rock out too. Liking this a lot…
was there for $84 bea is great would go to her concerts again-bass player is great-want to go to bea again-first thought 'cologne' was different then liked it
Not because of Beabadobee, but I think I'll stick to open air venues from now on. I'm not a gig stalker but the sound at her Toronto concert last time was much worse than this one.
None of the 90s artists that this band references so blatantly would’ve performed with vocal tracks. Caveat Emptor. Things are not as they seem in Beabadoubee
Ive always really liked the music, very talented and creative. However, the 'too cool to smile' tude really makes me cringe. Excellent bass player, as always

This has _way_ better mixing than most recent live coverage.

100% audio mixed well kudos to the sound engrs. 100% superb performance woohoo!

felt some 90's vibes in their music..Keep rockin'!!
Yea I heard into a interview she likes this kind of music era, indie pop music from 90s n 2000s a bit grunge n rock too.
Props to the audio engineers, sounds so good live
Saving pop rock music! 🎶 👑 Beabadoobee❣️
Gosh, nostalgic 90s chic, strong Nirvana/Cobain vibe, with a 2020s feel to it. Like it.

I always thought that was the persona/vibe they were trying to give off. Maybe I'm wrong.
I feel like its bea and luca carrying the stage presence most the time
it's slacker rock
I think they all have their own personality and you don't have to go to the dentist every time you're rocking songs on stage. Just saying

@Steerpike The screen is good for getting sound isolation and a good mix... the issue was they didn't bolt it down or secure it somehow

Good performance generally, but they look so bored, Bea in particular. Backing vocal track is too loud as well I would say.
