I really liked the "get the biggest thing" challenge since it felt so open-ended. And while I guess the twist made it kinda unfair, I like that it felt devious in a way that wasn't physically cruel. Reminds me of how the contestants were tricked into being tired before the big sleep in S1.
fair enough I guess I could see that, the problem I have is the big sleep twist was (mostly) fair to everyone, but this twist of unfairness is more similar to the bike race challenge in island to me because only select people were screwed over by the twist and those select people, were the ones that did the best in the previous section.
I love how he starts every video with an unenthusiastic “Hi” or “Hey” lmao. This is a very new approach, I think it’s nice to see you talking about your thoughts on challenges and show aspects as most of your videos are about the contestants. Either way I’m intrigued and excited to see what you do next.
thanks! I never intended for it to be thing its just how I say hi lol, i'm not a very high energy person so I don't like being fake and im not like... performative or show manistic enough to come with anything catchy or clever. glad you liked it! I definitely enjoy talking about characters the most but it was fun to do something new
Fun idea for a video! Good rankings! Yes omg I loved everything in your S tier too! I appreciated the homages to some other shows with the challenges. I know it’s not super involved or dramatic, but I would love to see Total Drama’s version of Hand on a Hard Idol from Survivor. And since they did the standing on poles endurance challenge, then that opens the door imo.
I'm happy to see another upload from you, I love your what-ifs a lot! Would you be willing to make another PI what if? I liked the ones you did on Amy and Sammy a lot
Id like to see a complation of what ifs that are too short for a normal video since they either take place too far into the season, or would barely change anything. So to relate this to PI, what if Max wasnt just randomly kicked off? Theres 3 episodes left, the video would be 10 minutes at most
Here's an unscripted thought idea also utilizing another one of your series. Inspired from your character redesigns, you should create your own version of RR, with custom teams with different personalities, different designs, etc.
I would probably die trying to redesign all those characters lol, I have been thinking of something kinda similar to this where I would spin for to create completely shuffled teams and then try create a backstory and dynamic for them. like for a practice round, I got Ennui and Gerry (tennis rival guy) and I created a little background description of how they became a team by altering their characters a bit (Ennui was a delinquent type like Duncan and he was signed up to tennis as a last ditch effort to have him be less violent and surprisingly enough its working) so their dynamic would be a master apprentice team. but im not sure if that would make a very interesting video
Relating to your point about unfair challenges and the second F-tier challenge, I personally don't like challenges where contestants can, just, freely choose to sabotage each other. Like tackling another contestant before they click on their tablet, or cutting a rope before they climb it, etc etc. Either sabotage has to come at a great risk, require a specific skill set, or something. It just, being possible for anyone whenever they want to, really lowers the stakes.
fully agree, I'm usually not big on sabotage or cheating but when its done with someone like MK I can get on board because she's doing it in a genius innovative way. that challenge just felt like cavemen knocking each other over at opportune times which couldn't be further from the intelligence based challenge they presented
I actually think the obstacle course change for 1×3 is an improvement. Players being separated in sections doesn't allow for much character interaction
that's a good point actually, its also important for me to say that for most of the season 1 premerge challenges I didn't rewatch for this ranking because it was unscripted. so im working solely off my memory of when I first watched them which was probably like close to a year ago at this point. I just remember being very unimpressed with this challenge but its possible that its better than I remember
spoilers: i love how the only two F tier challenges were episode five of season one and episode ten of season two (five muktiplied by two) kind of perfect lol But nice video man 👍
episode 7 is a realistic animal , it's one of the most strongest birds on earth and can actually kill you in real life and very dangerous, it's called cassowaries
I like not having to write 30 page scripts lol, i'm still getting used to this format though you'd be shocked to see the unedited version of this recording because theres A LOT of silence and rewording because of having to compile my thoughts in a smart way without guidance. I think still tend to ramble a bit too much in these but its a fine pay off to work with in editing to not have to write so much
What if All stars were all stars. For example switch Lindsay with Beth and Sam with Brick. You could do Owen instead of Courtney but that would make genders unequal.
@ Sam made it further than Dawn, and despite Courtney never being in the final two, she still managed to get final three in action. (Owen is not considered a real player, as he was a mole and didn’t participate in the space challenge or the boys vs girls action figure fight, and was forced eliminated.)

Pirate Ship challenge and capture the skull are my favorites by quite a long shot
agreed

Revenge had a capture the flag in ep3
good catch! completely forgot about that
How dare youtube keep me away from this for 3 minutes
How dare UA-cam keep this away from me for 14 Hours
Fun idea! I always love good ranking videos!

Him: Struggles to explain the challenge for 20 seconds
Also him the next sentence: This challenge is really simple 🙂👍
i mean it was pretty simple, I am just not words good 🙂👍
Yeah season 1 episode 5 deserves its own category of shame
YAY another upload

Action had a race they just tied lol so its literally just revenge the GOAT
I like this unscripted vibe

What if Courtney faced her fear in TDI
Cool
I really hope this challenge reviews become a series
cool
When you hit 10.00K subs can you rank every Total Drama character or make a big What If.
What if All stars were all stars. For example switch Lindsay with Beth and Sam with Brick. You could do Owen instead of Courtney but that would make genders unequal.
Switch Lindsay With Beth, Sam With Dawn And Courtney With Owen And It's Perfect. That's Perfect

Looc
Do you think you might ever do Disventure Camp What Ifs?
Youd just be making basically anything better then what DC did
The two worst challenges were Damien's elimination episodes.
The memory game challenge isn’t so bad in concept. And I actually liked the dinosaurs, they should’ve just removed the farting.
