I have this figure for 9 months and i gotta say, THIS IS THE BEST optimus prime figure EVER!
I upgrade him with fwi-04 (the jetpack), yes it fits, and man, j love this prime so,so much, and adding LS12 megatron....i am happy to be alive!!
Although it fits, did you have any kind of issues?
I guess we'll never know. :(

This looks great, but a minor disappointment would be the rear wheels. If those were to have the same engineering as the Black Mamba Prime upscaled Prime, then this toy would be closer to perfect. 👌
You mean Black Apple? That was an amazing KO. In fact, it is pretty much an original mold thanks to the heavy changes. Sadly, this was not enough to save Weijiang. Loved the tire part, though I don't have a BA Optimus Prime. More upgrade kits need this thing, and I found a way to make some type of similar tire transformation using nuts, bolts, and cardboard circles.
@@cutercills9x9productions9 as to the save weijiang part. The owner was sloppy as hell and left an entire paper trail of bribing hastak staff for CAD files. Man even showed up to Takata conventions with his products he was a menace hahaha

@@kylefernandez1917 damn shame, their stuff was amazing. At least I managed to get Dragoon and La Hire. In fact, I got the former for only $140. Meanwhile TFSource thinks they can sell him for anything above $200 ($250 last I checked, wtf). I dunno if he's worth THAT much...

I personally love the face plate, because it goes back to the original look, and that’s what I grew up with.
I am making stop-motion films, and I dont want to get multiple figures to get all the accessories i need, and this is perfect. I will definitely get one.

small head? cheap accessories? weird chest? not worth the prices
@@rodaempat1223 Yeah, I always thought the head was weird, but the chest is absolutely fixable. The reason why that figure is the definitive masterpiece (for me anyway) is the posture and the engineering, the only other prime that gives that posture and the arrangement of pieces is the ROTF leader Class
@@StealthBeeKid fixable but from side the chest is too fat because there is a big gap inside. I mean bro, it's a pity that such a good figure but not paying attention to things that simple to fix.
Oh thank god the grill is die-cast. Would be terrible if they painted it over plastic since they turn into the bottom of the feet.
And great! The smoke stacks too! I love the RoTF Leader Prime but the rubber stacks do not do it for me. AND THE WHEELS ARE RUBBER!
And I caved in and purchased one of these bad boys a couple days ago...
I just got this figure and I love it. My only complaints are that the thumbs can't swivel to get out of the way and as a result mine lost both its thumbs (SO BE VERY CAREFUL), and his hip joints are very loose so I'll have to tighten them. Other than that its AMAZING!!!
I wish they would do a solid shockwave. Since the Zeus toys one had terrible quality control

if you prefer the lighter chrome then get ls03 and buy upgrade chest piece to make him look like dotm prime

so there is a two LS03F versions ...one is commander of god of war and the other is Knight of light..whats the difference between the two ?
Commander Of God Of War is the DOTM variant whereas the Knight Of Light version is more representative of the 07-ROTF design

The ratchet knee joint on the right leg of the figure I got is quite loose. The knee will drop on its own if I hold the figure vertically. Anyone experience the same issue? Any way to tighten the knee joint?
You might of already fixed it after a year lmao but there’s a screw on the inside of the leg at the knee joint and I tightened it and it fixed it

Prime, it's really easy to tell what is diecast metal by touching it and if it is slightly colder than that plastic, its diecast metal. This is called the cold touch technique.

Bah...humbug. I'd rather have a 1:1 KO, but I have clearly missed the Legendary Toys LT02 bus. I'm not that big a fan of the oversized KOs, but that KuBianBao "Hornet's Agent" (oversized KO of NewAge "Flipper" Bumblebee) is rather attractive.
I DO like the Striker Optimus Prime color scheme...I'd just prefer it to be on a 1:1 instead of something oversized. Guess I'm stuck with the cool but less than stellar Studio Series 44 and the older, cooler, but dated Hunt for the Decepticons Battle Blade mold (specifically that Walmart exclusive DotM Battle Hook one). 😒

Depends on preference really.
More movie accuracy, go with Black Apple. Is in better scale with MPM line and has some upgrade kits coming for a better head and DOTM ab peices.
DOTM abs, more accessories larger in general, no battle damage, better leg articulation, go with this one.
Personally, I went with the Black Apple for the more accurate forearms, arms, and truck mode
