I think the digital code is expensive because we're kind of paying for the portability of the videos. Like you can watch it anywhere with the app/website. Unliked BRs where you need a TV and a disc player! :D It works for me since I don't have a TV at home heehe

The downside is Digital is higher quality than DVD+Blu-Ray... I think they've purposely made it hard to download the Digital version so people have to buy two memories - one for HD and one for portability x.x

if i’m not wrong, i read somewhere that it’s more expensive to maintain the hd quality of the digital code (since you can use one account to stream on as many devices as you’d like) as compared to burning a dvd?

This is the first time I ordered all versions of Memories 😬 I want the portability of the Digital Code. But I want something tangible so I opted for the DVDs too. But DVDs aren’t as clear as the digital! I actually don’t have a Bluray player but I was thinking I can play it in my kids’ Playstation when they get it in the future. Because what if I lose my Weverse account 😂 and I actually see them as heirlooms that I can give to my kids when they grow up 😊 Ahh technology 😅
Apparently it’s more expensive than the dvd because it’s better quality, it’s HD like the blurays while the DVDs are SD. I still think it should be the same price as the dvd, especially as it has the same contents (minus the discs) but I believe that that’s Hybe’s reasoning

It's more expensive because of the video quality. I think its 4K or the same quality as the Blu Ray. But DVD is slightly low in quality which is why its prices lower.

Digital Code is not cheap because the cost is to pay for cloud storage and servers. This is why I prefer having the CDs or DVDs itself
