I love see Kylie. She’s so joyous. When Caitlin achieves something she seems happier than anyone else. Just innocence and pure at heart. Hope she gets more time next year.
I was so grateful in so many ways to find out it wasn't a ligament injury. I had my own ligament tears (ACL, MCL, LCL, and Meniscus) a long time ago, and I laid totally still on the ground where I landed on my way to 2nd base. There are no words to describe that pain. So seeing her not moving for so long took me back, and for her senior night, 2 tournaments to go....I hated the thought of her missing it all at the end. Finally the coaches came out and got me off the diamond. Eight surgeries since then, it's been so long since I was still a part time warrior with my best friends. I miss it so much, so I am as happy as anyone that Molly's injury wasn't a ligament.
I know that pain! I don't know if you are ever back to '100%' after a surgery. I can still remember after a bad break of my leg (upper tibia plateau fracture, which did require surgery ) when the flight surgeon told me "your GI Joe days are done" (used to jump out of planes as part of my job) and I felt part of me died. Even after rehab, working in the gym... I could never get back to where I was because of the extent of that injury. I never jumped again. That's been over a decade already.
@@mattalbrecht7471 I never got back to 100%. Now that I've had a knee replacement, I wish they would have done that to start with because they remove the ACL for a knee replacement.
@@MarkHarper-ek8ss We are very aware of that, but we interjected and were discussing our own injuries that weren't ever televised for millions to see, and that from all of her signs I would have guessed ligament damage except for the fact that they didn't try to immobilize her to get her off the court. They carried her and both legs were hanging down. You can't do that without excruciating pain on top of the excruciating pain from a ligament that has been completely torn. If the day comes that you go down with a knee injury, you might want to think back to this conversation and realize that we were talking about an incredibly painful injury that takes major surgery followed by months, maybe more of rehab to be able to walk again. I'm lucky that I only trashed one knee. I've had 8 surgeries over a 25 year time span with rehab after the major ones. Trust me when I tell you that you never want to injure a knee.
Coach Bluder is always so poised and thoughtful. No wonder her team loves playing for her and each other.

She should be a main player in this year's team. We'll know soon.

This team has such nice wholesome young women. Even Caitlin Clark who could be a diva but is like the girl next door.
They all have a down-home Iowa work ethic and are just your typical Midwestern girls.
Kylie is a barbie…
Uhmmm, correct TITLE pls. Not "SYNDEY"...🤣
Thanks!
