If INFJ 's are so rare, why are there so many in the MBTI Community?

"Catnip" - perfect! I only came across this channel yesterday, but this (and one of your other videos), really spoke to me. Thank you - looking forward to seeing the other videos.

My collab artist this year was a self proclaimed IN-T-J. But you can tell from any rumor and direct contact she is as extroverted as they come.
Social anxiety and isolation isn’t so much an exaggeration or ultimate curse than you see in any discovery for new social belief systems.
Omnivert is fairly new and ambivert floated around the same way many adults older than me saw coming in trends/tech.
So when I’m focusing on other Myer-Briggs niche channels on this platform I am far from telling them to speak English the way I prefer.
Oh and Patterns? The video that came after your first of mine to watch was a parenting 101 from four to eight years back. Net positive interaction 2024.
    Don’t give up dude.

I don't care who presents in that community. When i see someone struggling and asking for advice in the community, i generally want to guide them. That includes if they may possibly be an ISFJ or INFP.
We gotta responsibility to lift people up at the end of the day.
Through positivey and inspiration, we can change the world for the better.

There is a reason why the type is rare. Abstract thinking as a dominant function - as part of nature (inborn) is not a common thing. If people were to start reading on abstract thinking, they would realize the true reason behind it.

😂 let's say something up front, in a world of 8.2. Billion people, if INFJs are the rarest, like 1%, it means there are 8.2 million of us!! It is why there are so many of us even if we are/aren't rare..... It is a "who cares" from me!!😂

INFJs aren't the rarest in any way lol. ENTJ and ENFJ are both rarer

@dxfifa ah yes, but if you read my comment below, you can see the reference to Donnie Darko and Dukakis (carcass 🤣) which was the last time the Democrats got anhilated.... against Bush.... you see, it doesn't matter how rare lol you are, it is what you can do with it. If you live long enough, the patterns emerge from the Darko and expand your mind. No. I am Australian. Don't give a shit about America but you sound nice. If you are American that is.. you know, when I was skipping around the Prime Minister Keatings office, I opened the guest book and Bush Senior had scribbled all over it. 2 of them is just sick. My best friend was the PMs secretary and we'd do lunch in his Office when he was away 🤣 Good luck with the Trumpster. Can't wait to see him in little old Canberra. No turn out there...🤣🤟💞

Before watching the video, here are my assumptions:
The MBTI is a very small community compared to the rest of the world, I question whether or not they're the rarest in the world due to the lack of accuracy in the data such as the fact that it's hard to actually determine what someone's type is without having all four pieces of the puzzle, the facts, your perception of yourself, other people's perception of you, and the intuition that brings it all together.
MBTI is like a pattern, once you figure it out, it's super easy, it's one of the reasons I theorize, I say I theorize because I never actually looked it up, why there's not many sensors, especially high Si users in the community, picking up patterns isn't the specialty of an high Si user like it is with a high Ni user.
It seems like a pattern because once you figure out that Te-Fi are connected, it's very easy to jump over a bunch of details to reach a conclusion, which is a facet of Ni.
Pair that with the fact that INFJs have Fe and would be more likely to join a social group it seems obvious to me.
    After watching the video:
My assumption about INFJs maybe not being rare was accurate but I missed the main point on why there seems to be a lot of INFJs in the community.

Is it early to the party? Or is it that INFJs found some needed tools for living a successful life. Something other types don't need. Also, the tools other types have to be successful, while such tools work for them, they are not that useful for the INFJs. While MBTI could help them deal with us better. Our problem as INFJs, is, they don't have to deal with us correctly to be successful in general, only to be successful with us!

I think the INFJ's role in "group cohesion" is often overlooked. Being retired military I definitely can see my role as of being the peace maker, being the one to stand up to the bully, and being there for people on an individual basis. As much as any Type, without us, the tribe falls apart, or is at a deficit. We are great at finding a path forward that everyone can agree to, and can step into leadership roles (although they prefer not to), when needed.
Don't discount how much things fall apart when we're not around. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and watching. 🤗

    Lots of mistypes

    • @dxfifa
      @dxfifa 24 дні тому +2

A shitload of more introverted EP types mistype as INFJ, as well as SFJs, INTJs, INFPs
I would say the top mistypes for INFJ in terms of volume not percentage are (not including the obvious ENFJ)
INFP (thanks Frank James you ego invested "INFJ")
      ISFJ
      ENFP
      INTJ
      ISTP (especially women)
      female ENTP
      ESFJ
      reserved ESTP
