Ok, haha, I apologize. But there are definitely a lot more good bands not too well know because they don't have songs in anime or DDR. You should check out bands like Last Alliance, Kaggra,, , Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Tamaki Nami, Gilgamesh, etc. I'm a huge L'arc fan as well, but BeForU really can't be compared with these guys, especially L'Arc; the four of them, especially Hyde has so much talent and versatility.
