We're sitting so close to this now, this plausible future William created back in the late 70s. To me, it's unbelievably eerie. Was he prescient, or did we build this from his subconscious instruction manual? I draw a great deal of comfort from his work, especially the early stories, somehow, given how bleak it often is. I would love to discuss the idea that art creates the future.

Burning Chrome is both a short story (not novella length), and the title of a short story collection that contains BC. All of the stories are by William Gibson, but several are written in collaboration with other science fiction authors. Most are in the cyberpunk genre, but not all.
30+ years later and this remains my favorite work of his.
I love it too. I plan to do more William Gibson narration soon.

I do intend on narrating more yea! I just don't find that much time to fit everything in with streaming during the week and video editing etc :)
