It's a cover of a Shinwa song, besides Namjoon already apologized in an interview and said he was going to become a better person.
if you don't want to move on that's up to you but please keep in mind the context. It's a cover back in 2014 of a well-known senior group. I'm not excusing what he did but I want to provide some context. 1) Back then he could already speak english but is english was not as good as it is now. 2) He mostly learned english by himself and even if he was a big hiphop fan that doesn't mean he could understand everything about the language and culture (even me, an African who grew up listening to hiphop/rnb didn't know the depth of the N word so just imagine how it was for a young asian guy who lives in a totally different culture). 3) Even if he was already an adult, that doesn't mean anything. Just listening to songs from another culture doesn't make you more educated about that culture. 4) Who actually made them cover that song, did they choose it we actually don't know
So with that being said I can understand you don't feel comfortable about it but please don't hate. It was already 9 years ago. That Namjoon is not the same as the Namjoon we have now. He learned from his past wrong actions. In the 2018 Billboard perf in America, they even changed the I (niga) and You (Naega) part because they didn't want people to be confused.
