Level 3 was easy, now after they updated it the level feels just unfair. The entity can just run to you from across the map even when you stay quiet and keep crouching. It's like it gained Ultra Instinct for few seconds.
Me and my homie died so much because this thing just ran to us, tea-bagged our body, and walked away
He can hear you like 4 or 5 meters of distance if you run

Give this man a special perk for just not caring about the monsters. Like he literally walks and jumps in front of the sound monster and the monster walks forward like its thinking for a second then it just gives up and walks away.
The sheer power of not caring and not being afraid made the monster give up.

easiest way to complete level 3 i've found is by having a friend continuously lure the entity to the hallway while another person grabs the keys and presses the buttons. granted it's still possible in solo but just much more time consuming due to the AI mechanics in nightmare mode
Honestly, this entity is ridiculous on any difficulty. He kept maiming my arse while I was completely still and crouching, on *easy mode..*
There’s a glitch in level 3, at spawn, there’s an invisible wall that the monster can't pass through. So one player will keep luring it here while other grab keys and push buttons

I like how the game uses reversed back rooms knowledge. In the poolrooms level 2, there’s an entity even though the tiles aren’t dark. Yet in the dark tile parts of level 9, there is no entity.
Yeah, I was confused when I got to poolrooms, according to backrooms, white tiles, safe no entities, sunlight, dark tiles dark chlosterphobic, possible entities

First time I entered the game, I spawned in this big empty area, three valves, three buttons, as well as some other stuff were floating as of against an invisible wall. I then proceed to notice the actual building I’m supposed to be in is to my left. After wandering for a while I somehow get to the next floor.
omg I got stuck in this place as well, did you see water? Because I did. I just jumped into the void and respawned into the level. I was also with people but I left.

i tried doing lvl 3 in solo nightmare but without anyone to use as a distraction or my sixth sense gamepass i was killed pretty fast, very time consuming and i think they buffed the entity a little too much in the update

I don’t mean to come off as rude but it’s not that hard man, just make sure to crouch if it’s close (and if it’s really close stay still) and if it’s far you can just run to the doors for the buttons, you can do this on solo as well btw

Honestly level 6 is the most nerve racking part of the entire game, and I feel like it’s the highlight of it too.
That would be the case if there werent 5 different cheeses to beat that stage
eh, the abandoned office is the hardest level currently in the game (on nightmare). I tried the mode too and loosing all the progress i made on that stupid level always kept my heartbeat in sync with the player's.

@@hiamrandomhuman5931 lvl 10 although being rng, is still the best in my opinion, though would be better if it was placed earlier in the game. The reason I think it’s the best, is the backrooms feeling, your all alone, something is watching you, the loud thuds also build lots of suspense.
Small tip on level 3
Just move while crouching it way more faster then waiting for the entity to leave
Don’t jump to find the key, climb on the closet to find it
Edit: crouching ain’t work anymore, so just walk 🤷♂️

On the "RUN FOR YOU LIFE" Level, you can actually hide on the corner of the hallway. The spot where there is so many stuff is blocking, you can go there, the monster just gonna continue walking and doesn't kill you
i couldnt find where to go next like halfway through, so i just went into an open door and it walked past
im pretty sure it works in a lot of spots as long as youre not near the middle of the hallway

I met 3 random people and we decided to play from easy to nightmare
We got lucky at the last part in hard mode cause the key was right beside us and the door we found was the exit
As for nightmare mode
2 people died during the run but me and the last guy played it smart and safe during the last part
Luckily we didn't encounter the monsters at the last part and we finished nightmare mode
Thats cool. I just started playing and as soon as i spawned i saw something like a tv distress signal thing floating right in front of me and i immediately quit…

Honestly, whenever you beat the game on Nightmare mode, the game should let you get a gamepass of your choice *for free* every time.
So it's like any other game, you can PTW or be very skilled.
Their objective is to make money, why would they do that?

level 3 is so much different on easy mode lol… you can always move while crouching, even when the entity is right in front of you. and the entity is much slower, and rarely goes to your area if its not close, even if youre running. pretty sure theres less buttons too.
idk about the other areas, but level 8 took me almost 30 minutes (with other people) because we had no idea where the exit was and we didnt do a good job avoiding the monster.
i cant really see myself completing any other modes…

My friend found a glitch on level ! where you go up into a slightly emptied blocked off path so when the entity passes you, you can come out behind it and chase him. It’s really funny.

It's actually easy if u know how to get to the exit, you hide in a locker in the chair room and wait for the monster to turn back to you, at this moment you get out of it and run fast to the exit
I got a hang of level 8 in just a few hours, know the route to the exit, only problem is that skin stealer is camping the chair room wich will take 10 min

@@arandomman7984 no, skinwalkers are not backrooms entities. the entity in level 8 is a skin stealer, the way it kills you has nothing to do with anything. the entity in level 4 (the cave system) is most likely a doppelganger, but that was never confirmed as this game has modified some entities, for example, apparently the entity in level 3 is a hound, and it being blind is obviously not a trait they have.

Honestly, they should make the levels in order but to add a little twist, they should put places around the map to noclip into random levels and those spots randomize around the current level you are in every 20 seconds so it is purely based on luck to get in them, and in order to get out of those levels to get back to the main level you were in before, you have to complete a task or randomly noclip back, they should also make it so that items like a cute plushy would spawn randomly in every level, and just like the random levels, they should randomize location every 20 seconds, those items would also allow you to noclip into a different level like kitty's house.
Just my thoughts on how they can make the game a lot more interesting.

after you get your code theres a door with a keypad on a corner, the rest should be easy: the book code part is easy, put the first code on the keypad if you havent used it yet on other the end runs, if you have already used the first one use the second one, if youve used the second one use the third one and so on, after that its just walking and then the terminal access part you should just input y and wait for the vent to open

I remember doing nightmare mode, we made it to level 10 pretty quickly but then took like 20 years to beat it, I was just locker camped by one of the smilers the whole time but it still took the other people forever sadly, we did beat it eventually though!
Ive done this first try alone lol, i was surprised by how easy it was and how so less people have the badge

there are 3 cases, you are lying and got stuck on level 3 or 10 (10 because smilers camp more than diamond ranks in shooter games)
you actually had the skill and experience to do this first try without the annoying mechanics in level 3 and the broken camping in level 10
or you had mistaken a different difficulty for impossible (probably got to hard [which is where i practiced] thinking it was impossible and got easier enemy ai's)

fun fact on 37:14 : you can hide on the edge like on the fallen wall thing and just follow the monster and when you find the exit, don't worry the monster can't kill you

Level 3 is just way too hard now, I made it past before but it's just way too hard because it literally camps you and doesn't even let you move for a second, there was another player with me but he was a noob and didn't know what to do so he just kept following me around as i searched the drawers. After 20 mins of enduring that we decided to just give up because it was boring.
