OMG..Men, believe me when I say there are confident, loving women in this world that don’t require all this complex maneuvering… having said that there aren’t many.. most of them are very insecure and think of nothing but themselves. The trick is to become secure within yourself if you don’t feel the natural instinct to want to protect and take care of the one you love and maybe you’ve picked the wrong person. Men need to “rewire” themselves? That puts virtually all the work of initial intentional intimacy on the man to “chase” women on women’s terms and when it’s convenient for women. And when men can’t mind read their way through the complexities of that maze… we get rejected… we didn’t pass the test and we suddenly get designated as not doing enough to “desire” their partner… which eventually leads to rejection. The paradigm of gender roles has dramatically changed for both men and women in the last 40+ years and the expectations that men should be the ones to “rewire” to a outdated standard that has been failing men for generations is absurd. Women wanted equality… and they got it, but when men want desire… need companionship, love, loyalty to the relationship… well… that’s not convenient or practical and it’s too much to be reciprocated in a equitable way by women. Both genders “need” to rewire… intentionally, respectively and for the benefit of both parties and the relationship they build together. This video is outdated advice based on conditions from the past that have virtually no relevance in the present or going forward into the future. And when men step up to state these truths that we authentically feel in a vulnerable way, we get contempt, further rejection and harmful reprisals with nearly no support or advocacy by virtually anyone… not women, not our communities… no one. We are expected to go it alone and “figure it out.” Frankly… we are beyond exhausted with the “rewiring” and the emotional exhaustion that comes from it. Because there still is negative consequences if we don’t measure up… we get blamed, judgment and set aside for the next guy that is waiting in line to meet a woman’s needs in the moment and convenient for them. Hell… even this comment I’m writing is a waste of time, because it won’t be acceptable as an authentic truth that most men genuinely feel and know to be true in their lives. Women want men to be practical and adhere to what ever whim of desire is in the moment… and yet when we ask for practical equality in communication… too bad. I learned a long time ago that “uncommunicated” expectations are premeditated disappointments. If women need to “feel” desired… clearly and practically communicate this and you will get desire without question. Keep playing the maze game of mind reading and judgement… later! We got better things to do with those individuals that are willing to reciprocate open healthy communication on all levels equally. That’s where we will invest our time and energy… chasing and mind reading are the way of the past. “Rewire” that.
