Omg, I’m so grateful you took the time and we’re sweet enough to share what your supplies are, so that we can all have an easier time knowing what to stock OUR craft rooms with! I’m sure this must’ve been a lot of work, with all the descriptions below, so thank you so very much….and you are the FIRST person who knew the secret of using tackle boxes! I buy them all the time and skip the crafting stores..I save a ton of money and use them for everything including for a custom game case for my sons gaming stuff! Great minds….😉💕
As a former designer for craft, woodworking and home decor magazines I applaud your list of tools and supplies. Thorough, from wood to adhesives, from metals to connectors, and non-conventional items for crafting. Well done.
As someone who has been crafting often for years, one of my FAVORITE tools I wish I got sooner is a heat gun! Speeds up paint drying time sooo much. And yes sharp scissors are essential! ✨
Every time I get one of the L Rulers from Dollar Tree, it's all bent and I can't get it straight, so I just ordered an inexpensive, heavy duty one from Amazon. Also, I use up all of the glue in my Super Glue Wood Glue bottle and then dump the Gorilla Glue in a zip lock bag, snip a corner, and squeeze it into the Super Glue Wood Glue bottle for ease of use and portability!
The world needs more people like you. You are always so up beat and amazing thank you for all you do on here. I've learned so many things from your videos
Hi. I wanted to take this moment to make you aware that you are AWESOME. One day I was looking for ideas and came across your page. Since then I have been faithfully looking at your videos. Besides all the ideas, do you want to know what impact me the most? Your voice. You explain all in details, visuals and easy to follow. Why I said your voice? I suffer from depression and your voice is calm, making all this projects easy and not overwhelming. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Wow! I love this so much! I am so glad that my videos are helpful to you!! Crafting is relaxing and therapeutic to me, and I just let it flow naturally when I teach 😍.
Thank you, Dee! I have the majority of the items you showed. I've to get the gutter mesh and the irrigation tubing. I was at Home Depot and got a supply of the paint sticks large and small ones, because my Walmart has not had any for a while. The tumbling tower blocks, when I see them at my Dollar Tree, I buy 4 or 5 boxes of them. I brought 2 of the large tins of Jenga blocks at Walmart and at Dollar general. I will get a few more screws to add t my screw box. I got a Skillz saw for my birthday, I got the miter box, a nail gun, heavy duty stapler for upholstery and one that's a little lighter and lastly my drill, I love this drill after I got use to using it. I've learned that crafting is so much more than glue and glue guns. TFS, be safe and be blessed. ❤❤❤❤💯
Dee I’ve learned so much about tools and everything by watching this videos. I’m not a crafty person. I started watching diy craft here in UA-cam last year, and your one of diy’r person that I followed and enjoy watching, your crafts n ideas are just amazing. I wish I have a big home like I used to have when we live in Charleston SC but we moved here in a small town in MN it’s small old farm house. I don’t have room for diy stuffed. But I love and enjoy watching your video I will probably make those two frame you did on your last video. They are pretty! Thank you for all the tips! Have a blessed morning!

Thank you so very much for putting this video together!!! Can't imagine how much work went into that, grateful for your generosity of time & talent 🎃 👻 👽👾
I have almost all of the items you have shown us here. I am just as tickled with my screw and nail boxes as you are. I have been offered a used Hitachi miter saw as a swap between my contractor and me for my used but in great condition storm door. I am so excited!! My craft room isn’t completed yet but have been thinking and planning on what else I need to finish the set-up up!! 😁Thank you for all of these ideas. You’ve been very helpful ❤ I will check out to see if you have a video of how you manage your craft supply storage.
Yup got that, oops need to go shopping! I love your channel and try not to miss any of the videos. You are so talented and inspirational, a step up into crafting. THANK YOU
Thank you so much, for sharing all your favorite must haves, on supplies & tools. I've always admired your tackle box of screws & nails. I do have some, of everything you have. Except the power tools and some supplies you use. I usually get my painter's stir sticks free from both Lowes & Home Depot. All you need to do is ask. I can usually get 6-8 large ones, with no problem. Thank you again, for sharing all your faves.❤
Dee, thanks! I'm fairly new to wood crafting, but love it! Lot's of supply lists vary, per person, but you seem to have THE long-term list down!❣️ One thing I didn't see you mention was sanding tools. What is your choice for sanding? Grit? Block? Etc. TY again!
I am So Happy that I found my L shaped ruler 😊 I looked for the ruler for the looooooongest time and I had NO luck. For some reason I Only looked in the school supplies aisle, BUT come to find out it was in The Tool aisle. Silly me 😊
Thank you! Your list and explanations are wonderful and thorough! I applaud you for your willingness to share. It fascinates me what folks use to craft. Some are so inventive and out-of-the-box. I can't believe you're old enough to have had a drill for 17 years!!! I thought you were maybe in your mid to late 20's at most... Girl, I want your beauty and skin care regimen. I've been looking for a good one because I look every bit of 41 years old, actually much older! It's hard on the confidence, so anything would help 😁
LOL! Just FYI, I use commercial models for my thumbnails, but I appear in my garden videos and in interviews on YT. I have always been told I look younger than I am though! For me, it's no special regimen, just genetics! 🙂
Thank you so much Dee, for that huge amt of information, it was so very helpful. I finally made that vintage fan from the planter trays and wire hoops. I wish I had had the a hot knife for cutting the plastic , you're absolutely right about cutting plastic ,it will Crack or the ends are ragged. I have a project for you , Okay... a lampshade out of shade material or poster board , the round wire circle with spokes coming from the center @ (dollartree) and wooden needle point hoops I wish I could send you a picture of the one I tried and failed.🤔 Anyway all you're projects are beautifully made.. you're my favorite.
Thank you Dee! Walmart still has the 5/gal. stir sticks in a 3/pkg for .94 here and my store has them in the included delivery that you can get if you're on the grocery delivery to! I managed to snag quite a few while in lockdown, it was a lifesaver!
You are the best! This is great information to have. Plus the "screw box and hangerbox" is a great idea. I have struggled with what sizes are necessary to have. You have fixed my probkem! I now have several guides to follow. Thank you, thank you, thank you my friend!🥰🥰🥰🥰
I have been doing this so long that I know what size bit to use, but if it helps you please feel free to add it. I only use 4, 6 & 8 thickness screws, so I use only 3 drill bits 🙂.
Wow you just gave some valuable advice. I have some of these things but I just made a list of what more I need to get!!! Good suggestions for my Christmas list!! Thank you!!!
WOW! WOW! WOW! Your video was so informative. I have a lot of the crafting tools you mentioned but you gave me new ways to use some of them. The ones I don’t have are on my list to buy. Thank-you for all your wonderful ideas .

So sweet of you to list all the Tools and Supplies that you use. Must of taken forever. Much appreciated. You are an amazing teacher. ❤️❤️❤️
As someone who has been crafting often for years, one of my FAVORITE tools I wish I got sooner is a heat gun! Speeds up paint drying time sooo much. And yes sharp scissors are essential! ✨
That is a great tool too! I use an old hair dryer, but may get a heat gun too one day!
@@SheSoCraftDee hair dryer definitely works! My heat gun is just a bit faster and smaller to store away. :)
After sooo many years crafting, I just got my first heat gun! Not sure why I waited.
