Yeah, just look at the clip they referenced the trick from. The guy is literally like a stick. Legs and feet tight togheter and his arms are basically glued to his body. Don't think I've ever seen anyone spin that fast.
Amazing job guys! The kid in the video had a couple advantages. 1. He had a larger, bouncier trampoline. 2. He had a couple friends on the tramp to double bounce him. If all things were equal, with some practice I know at least one of you could have given him a run for his money.
Absolutely love the video. Ash's scream as he was twisting all over the place made me lol. In the beginning of the video, while watching Ash and Luke flailing their limbs trying to twist, I was thinking to myself that Nile might be good at this. And sure thing, while he held his arms out at first he didn't seem to flail as much. And when you guys figured out that using the kaboom thing with one leg would help, Nile did amazing and got some speed into his twists. All of you guys did great, Nile just have a bit more grace. I shouldn't be the one to speak though, I'm not even sure I could jump straight up and down on a trampoline without flailing and falling on my butt these days. I'm always so impressed by you guys and you inspire me to want to get stronger and try to learn some simple stuff and not be ashamed because I suck at everything. I also adore the friendship between the three of you, it's so beautiful to see.
I got home after a long day and wondered if I'd have the enthusiasm to do today's work on the Handstand Manual. Then I saw this. Time to get upside down!
That was great. I think we need to start taking bets about how long it will take in the video before Luke loses his shirt. I mean, I get it, but it is funny how he's pretty much always the first one to shed it.
I use to do these as a kid..i would jump as high as i could, come down flat arms out, like you are going on your chest, but pull in the last minute on your back...then the next bounce from your back, hit the spins arms out and pull in fast. I was able to get in about 5-7 rotations, that look just like that kid, really easy after a few times. This is jumping forward btw, it's easier than what you guys are doing.
I really really hope you keep trying this one. I believe all three of you can improve. Maybe you could try it at a trampoline park where you have a bigger trampoline & a higher ceiling. Maybe see how many tuck back spins? Who knows what you can achieve (as Jay would say) if you “Just Work”😃
Just from the intro i was so hyped he was trying cat twists. It's my favourite skill, I've managed a sextuple and been trying to replicate it since (no double bounce, no kaboom by the way, so the record for that is only 8)
I’ve already try this, for those who don’t know, if you kick with your left ankle on the tramp, JUST after you’ve landed, you will automatically twist 😊 It’s basically the same thing than a kaboom but with one leg, so instead of getting backward, we will twist ! (Edit) I’ve written this comment before I saw that they said it on the video 😂
For Nile he’s almost got the technique down. You need to either, keep your left leg flat on the trampoline when the right leg is doing the kaboom, or land with your left leg higher up in the back drop while the right is kabooming. Doing either of those will help maintain the flat body flight, currently Nile is rotating onto his feet a little. The guy in the video also has placed his double bouncers in a very strategic position to increase the power of his leg doing the kaboom to create even more twist. I’d spend a bit of time perfecting the flat back landing, like 5 flat back landings in a row (without going to feet) with someone double bouncing you and getting the perfect flat body flight.
Guys if they are double bouncing could they be double springing favoring one side more than the other to help create the start of the spin from the actual levels on the tampoline itsself
I'm sure the original guy is a diver! You guys should get some of the high divers and cheerleader flyers to come try this with you! The tighter you keep your whole body together the faster you'll rotate as shown by Nile's attempts vs the others. He keeps his legs close together.
true! plus I hope they go to the swimming pool soon again and film some new content there too... also they could try another collab with someone like the kid in the video :)
Cool video but I was kind of disappointed you guys didn’t try bouncing each other when that’s clearly what they did in the inspo video. Seems like you got pretty good at twisting….
On a trampoline that size, its not worth the risk, especially since the inspo video is on a trampoline specifically designed for double bouncing. They've got a competition trampoline there, which works so much differently to the g-tramp in the inspo
Does it make it extra hard as you 3 have trained your entire life to land on your feet and not trying to override that muscle memory to land on your back?
Comparing videos it looks like that guys trampoline is "looser" so to speak Compared to the one you guys are using. It gave him alot more lift capabilities.
You can see Nile's figure skating training here, he spins with his arms tight to him to increase his spinning speed, just like a skater does.
Yeah, just look at the clip they referenced the trick from. The guy is literally like a stick. Legs and feet tight togheter and his arms are basically glued to his body. Don't think I've ever seen anyone spin that fast.
🤣 so it’s not his lifetime of gymnastics that has taught him how to efficiently twist 🤣🤣🤣
What a flip'n awesome video, I love Ash's screams "ahhhh" when things go pear shaped.
Amazing job guys! The kid in the video had a couple advantages. 1. He had a larger, bouncier trampoline. 2. He had a couple friends on the tramp to double bounce him. If all things were equal, with some practice I know at least one of you could have given him a run for his money.
Yes! This - larger trampoline, friends helping him achieve higher jumps, etc.
I went to gymnastics today and almost did a backhand spring.I’m really proud of myself and love watching you guys do gymnastics.Love y’all
You guys are unbelievably skilled. Jay too! She's been killing it on her channel
Ash…your commitment at 5:18 to keep sending it is marvelously funny! Almost spit out my beer on the screen! Love from the Netherlands
In the video, two guys are "power bouncing" the guy so that he is going much higher in the air, thus has more time to twist.
Absolutely love the video. Ash's scream as he was twisting all over the place made me lol. Those manly screams get me every time!! 😂
So much more braver than me, so keep the vlog's coming guys
You may not have reached this flippin’ goal, but it looks like you sure had fun giving it a go. Love the supportive competition you show each other
Fantastic video! Keep pushing the envelope, lads!
That was insane guys haha I swear you all have virtually no fear 😂 well apart from the mouse traps haha, fantastic as always ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wait a second...was that Ash having a bit of a harder go then the other two? That doesn't happen too often. Glad you all got it in the end.
ash hates twisting lol
Love this, guys! I hope to see the 3 of you elderly and losing your dentures showing the kiddos you coach how to do the damn thing.
I got home after a long day and wondered if I'd have the enthusiasm to do today's work on the Handstand Manual.
Then I saw this.
Time to get upside down!
Nile is such an awesome twister! Way to go mate 👏
You guys are all doing great. More trampolining.
U need a bigger trampoline to try it, did the other bounce him higher to give him more momentum, love ur trampoline content.😊
This video is everything ❤
Awesome video! Always love when you all try the ‘ impossible ‘ things. And we always think: bet Ash can do it ! 😉❤
If you guys had a spring gear tramp, you would be flying
the ice skating training for sure is key to this! they spin crazy fast!
That was great. I think we need to start taking bets about how long it will take in the video before Luke loses his shirt. I mean, I get it, but it is funny how he's pretty much always the first one to shed it.

love it with u 3 and joanna in vlogs, try it in a bigger trampoline, love u to try wall trampoline.😊
That was fun to watch, but it looks exhausting! Good tries, all!
I really really hope you keep trying this one. I believe all three of you can improve. Maybe you could try it at a trampoline park where you have a bigger trampoline & a higher ceiling. Maybe see how many tuck back spins? Who knows what you can achieve (as Jay would say) if you “Just Work”😃
Ash Watson, You my man are built different!!!!
Just from the intro i was so hyped he was trying cat twists. It's my favourite skill, I've managed a sextuple and been trying to replicate it since (no double bounce, no kaboom by the way, so the record for that is only 8)
Arms in! Arms in!!!
You can do it ash sweetheart love you ❤❤❤❤
6:43 I’m going to guess that the starfish technique doesn’t work 😂
The crash mats constantly encroaching on the trampoline were frustrating me so much 😂😅 but great job guys, thats so much harder than people realise!

Ooh we got some stunt doubles for movies hehe

This is fun, but GUYS!!! Get one of your diver friends to try this. Tom Daly, for heaven's sake!
true! plus I hope they go to the swimming pool soon again and film some new content there too... also they could try another collab with someone like the kid in the video :)
Any links or credit to the guys video?
Nile like a cat - always land on his feet
Not me thinking "wow physics is wild"
That’s the highest pitch waargh I’ve ever heard a fella do but it made me laugh
Luke is good with the mat
Momentum guys. They were jumping the guy. Double bounce, hes SO high. Hes like 25ft up. Not 6 lmao
Never been this early to a video🎉
Nah cus imagine them training with trampolinists!!!
My friend goes Kirklees in Huddersfield which is a well good place
double bounced
In the video they double bounced him and he flew. At least 1 guy if not two out of three on the tramp not doing the trick. It's SO fast!
Ehrm 😂
First to like and comment. I love you guys xx

@@thathungryguy2617 you’re probably right
they also probably tried to control the skill first before flying too high up in the air :D
The other guy was so high he nearly touched ceiling that's y he got 11 in
Does it make it extra hard as you 3 have trained your entire life to land on your feet and not trying to override that muscle memory to land on your back?
Maybe not Mars, ok?
Think Ballerina or Spinning Ice Skater =)

It would have been REALLY nice for you to share a link to the original video.
