Pete is geniouse I'm gonna lay it down transcribe , make playback and play myself with this pedal. It's great we have settings on screen.

A Pete Thorn demo is music to my ears.
I bought this pedal based on this demo. Pete is an outstanding musician and a great person to demo any guitar, effect or amp. However keep in mind that Pete is a professional guitarist with top of the line studio and recording equipment at his disposal, which is the reason it sounds this awesome. Personally I found it not to be a good all around, general use reverb, but for that certain passage or song that requires a super spacy ambient sound, it's great, once you play with it and tune it in.

At 1:56 you can see Pete is still recording after he had already stopped in the other takes. I would imagine it's because inspiration might've hit. Great feeling to be able to listen to your jams man! Always worth the wait. Every single time.

RPMs is for measuring spinamathings. Guitar playing is more of a linear actuation, so maybe SPMs as in Strokes Per Minute...lol
In all seriousness, Pete can shred with the best of em when it's called for...but music has always been more about the quality of the note than the quantity. The real secret is to do both simultaneously. Then you will be an unstoppable force of nature with a wee bit of holy grail thrown in to keep the ladies honest.
Ok so this is what separates Pete Thorn from all the others...he turns a pedal demo into art and if you ever wanted proof of that listen to that track at the head of the demo....stunning just stunning.

Miami Vice reinvented!!! I can see Crockett and Tubbs cruising through the dimly lit sultry South Beach streets in a convertible Ferrari on their way to bust the bad guys with this song playing in the background. Awesomeness!

This is the best demonstration of the Blackhole fx I've seen yet . great playing and showing not only over the top effects but useful sounds when you want to hear the guitar a bit more .

They already released the rose pedal which is a delay... I think similar to the delays in the h9?

Loved the lead tone from the suhr... when you flipped to the bridge pickup that tone shift was so good. SRV used to do that mid note sometimes and it was years before I figured out how he made that sound. Great video. I have their Space pedal and still use it all the time.
The V 60 LP Single coils blend really great with the Thornbucker plus in the bridge, It’s a great HSS combo

The H9 is an awesome pedal. I purchased an H9 mainly for it's space time algorithm. Especially the black hole sounds. But it was your H9 demo that actually sealed my decision. You're an incredible guitar player and I watch your videos every chance I get. They're not only great to listen to, but extremely informative as well. Looking very seriousely at this black hole pedal now!
I really appreciate the way you explain how the black hole works as some sadly are unable to discribe how to use a pedal to its full potential. Amazing chops by the way !

Some out of this world tones from Pete with the Blackhole reverb. Great demo.
After you made me think about the Blackhole pedal I had to think hard to justify that. In the end I compromised and bought a H9 Max. Along with my DD-500 and my Torpedo CAB they are my snow white team of great tones.

As Eventide space and H9 are my favourite pedals, especially the black hole algorithm, I thought, “I’ll watch Petes demo as you’re really good, and I have to say as usual your playing overtakes my interest in the effect. Outstanding playing sir, still can’t understand why you’re not touring with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai 🙏🏻. And yes Blade Runner, one of my all time favourite albums by Vangelis. Simply superb!

@@mikew9788 Crystals has reverb and reverse delays. There are some presets that have a few extra fx in them and can't remember exactly. Look at the manual. There are some discriptions that describe some of the presets and the extras.

Love the demo, stereo blackhole reverb always sounds amazing. I'm guessing this pedal doesn't have an analog dry thru like the H9, so wet-dry might be a challenge? You should do a walk through of your current board now you've been using it for a while. I just picked up a DD-500, I'd love to see how you are using that one.

I have a slight obsession at the moment with big ole ambient reverbs. Having picked up a big sky, avalanche run v2 & flux echo recently I may need to add this in aswell..... brilliant demo Pete, any chance your merch will be directly available in Europe?
