Sometimes Vic really does a great job with Van Halen songs. Sometimes it seems like he really goes out of his way to sound as far off from the source material as possible. The way he played this just pissed me off.

Too bad Sammy keeps proving Van Halen doesn't need to be there to support him. He can just get anyone to play his songs. Guess the songs aren't very special at all. Van Halen was absolutely fantastic. Sammy chewed it up and spit it out. Very sad.
I think at the time Van Halen needed Sammy way more than Sammy needed Van Halen. However, they made some classic tunes.
Mikey is Van Halen. He's there supporting him🤷♂️
@@Wickerman13 "Mikey" was certainly an influence on VH no doubt. Great vocals, awesome back ups. Did write any hits? I don't recall. He wasn't John Deacon.
@@Canucklehead557 he is listed on a lot of songs with writing credit. How much he contributed, I don't know.
